Everton agree partnership with Nottingham Forest

Everton has made Division 1 history today by being the first club to officially announce an inner league partnership with Divison 2 side Nottingham Forest.

Syndey Martinez's men have enjoyed a successful pre season campaign and beat Getafe in their opening European match 2-1 last night.

Everton will now link up with Nottingham Forest in order to snap up their best youth prospects in future years. In return they will help the Division 2 club to grow.

Nottingham Forest chairman Frank Clark revealed: “Everton’s officials were great, not only giving our club respect but being fair in the partnerships deal. This will certainly provide us with a solid platform to allow the club to move forwards in the coming months."

It's understood that part of the deal sees promising forward Emboaba Oscar go to Forest on a season long loan. A friendly has been been organised between the clubs to be played at Goodison Park on the 28th March.

Cider, they are not buying to use them in matches.
They are buying them to exceed the 21 squad limit, so they can exchange their players.

Great signing for you then. Must be great the feeling when you get a player when they're young and fairly low in skill then they improve so much in a short space of time (saying that, I'm looking at his profile page and his rating has been at least 85 since June 2009).

Delph is a strange one. Maybe it was too much of a step up for him. Has he refound his form since he went back to Leeds?

i sold Gaitan. But i have been with Pedro, Gotse, wilshere, and many others.

Damn you Trionz. You mangy cur Arsenal fan. Stole my RB. No ethics. We will fight in Div 4 soon and I will beat you and I will gloat...oh well, who am I kidding, your Div 5 team is better than mine. :(

I hope your entire defense gets injured.

sorry DN, i did shortlist as last buy and your bid has bankrupted me and i am unable to buy another of my player, so in a way even i am suffering.

That definitely makes things even worse for you. I was in a similar circumstance a few days or so ago with Iturbe, and Brighton put a bid in for him when he was back on the market but fortunately he chose Leeds over them.

I got the players in before the offer had been accepted :D Just hope my bids are better than the ones from the other guys!

Smart move RS. With City having a sort of partnership with Middlesbrough and you having an actual partnership with Everton I'm in trouble.

I don't think he'll be happy that you've spelled his name wrong :p

That's good. Good luck.

Apologies to the Colchester manager - I know I've Keith Treacy as transfer listed but I've offered him a in a deal for a player so need to see if that goes through first!

Not bad. Left out other players as they are in with deals or loaned out, I dont see them as apart of this squad.

If anyone not from Division 2 wants a friendly for either date next week, give me a shout.

Bah! You're hell bent on besmirching the good name of Middlesbrough Football Club and Mr. Now. There is no such partnership between Manchester City and Middlesbrough Football Club. Cider has kindly offered to inform me of of the next potential loanee he may have available, but that is all. Middlesbrough is still an independent entity, and will not be engaging in any official partnerships with so called "bigger" clubs.

After this latest "attack" on Middlesbrough FC, I'm officially declaring that my main rivalry, not from a competitive view, but from a hatred standpoint... is Leeds United. It's a Yorkshire derby too... which is a bonus.

Where did you find that page?

Go to the main homepage, then "Add club" and enter the league ID and the page that comes up has a simple summary of all that info for each division.

Yeah I understand that, I'm just questioning the logic of looking to part-ex players when it's clear that building squad numbers should be a priority. If you need a bunch of £10k shit players to make your numbers up to 21 then surely part-exing the decent players you do already own is bad case of muppet madness. It won't be long until, after a few injuries, those £10k players are gonna be getting games.

actually i advise that to someone who had just 18 players in squad.
These guys took it to new level.

On the partnership front, I'll be accepting any of the bottom 3 clubs listed by value in Div 2.

Those are wrong Damien.

My average squad rating is currently 84 (before the transfers come in) and my value is £125.2M.

That sounds arrogant to me.

I am glad my deal with Red Sky is based on a long standing friendship.

Not sure what type of chap would want to jump into bed with Spurs and the clubs rotating door policy..

Well they need the help so thought I'd offer, rather then having a partnership with one of the promotion leaders who don't really need the help.

Cider, try to put a squad together on a Div3 budget, starting off with Div3 players to exchange, when others in your division have got 88-rated squads. Depth is something you'll have to sacrifice to compete.

Does anyone else always chuckle when they read the line "Realistic and sophisticated transfer market" on the homepage?!

I'd disgree and wouldn't play it that way.

Well-rounded depth could well triumph over a muppet-team consisting of eleven highly rated players and ten shite ones. Since when has sacrificing depth won anything in football? The averages of those 88-rated squads will soon drop away when their managers have to start rotating in the 60-rated tramps they dragged off the street to make up for the injuries and fatigue to their overpaid superstars.

I don't think they're refering to these private games there, but yeah it's kinda bonkers. I like the fact that the players' ratings and that fluctuate directly in tandem with real-world form; obviously all specific stats are hidden from view and real football knowledge, scouting and research makes the game interesting from there.

Mother of God.

Damien, let's talk Singh.

Sorry, but disrespecting my clubs partnership with Nottingham Forest after taking one of my most promising youngsters on loan has irritated the the chairman and I.

We put trust in you to nurture Ross instead you have become an outspoken monster.

Good day Sir.

Just made a bid for a new player. A keeper came back from loan so I've got room.

Have finally assembled a decent team now - not quite up there with the top lot but it's a big improvement on what I took over.

An entire new squad. Just need a GK now who I would have had but for me being 100k short meaning the deal fell through. :(

D. Forde, 32 (82)
P. Ilsinho, 26 (87) ----- A.Lukovic, 29 (87) ----- E.Spahic, 31 (88) ----- M. Rojo, 22 (86)
----------------------------------A.Iturrapse, 23 (86))--------------------------------------
K. de Bruyne, 20 (87) ------------------------------------------------S. Oliseh, 21 (86)
---------------------------------A.Isco, 19 (85)-----------------------------------
---G. Denis, 30 (88) ------ S. Giovinco, 25 (88)

Could loan you Cudicini? Think he's 86.
