Gaming The SM RedCafe League

My predictions:
Oblak + 2 to 90
Mustafi + 1 to 91
Hallilovic + 1 to 86
Nahuel + 2 to 85
Barbosa Danilo + 1 to 84
Brozovic + 1 to 88
Godfred Donsah + 1 to 84
Leroy Sane + 2 to 85

I'd be delighted with that.

Minutes 87 rated Coman played at Bayern: 710
Goals scored: 2
Assists: 4
Number of times played 90 minutes: 5

Minutes 87 rated Martial played at United: 1059
Goals scored: 5
Assists: 2
Number of times played 90 minutes: 10

Don't worry, Damien. Martial is more "in" than Coman, he'll get a rise.

I'm going to be controversial and i'll type it in here rather than on the FF for fear of a lynching. But yet again I think people are over rating Martial based on his first few appearances. The lad is obviously a huge talent, but the way people talk he's already a Henry. He's not actually scored in what 5/6 PL games in a row? Coman has at least been consistent in the CL even if his Bundesliga performances have been a tad under whelming.

You're reading too much in to my response. I'm saying Martial, like Coman, is the talk of town atm, add that he's young and you have the recipe of a SM rise.

Wouldn't surprise me. I've got a bad feeling about the coming review. Only one I'm positive should increase is Dier.

Looking at your 90 rated players I don't think any of them will rise. Possibly Sterling because he's a hyped player and still fairly low on rating, but he's not exactly scored many this year so far.

Zouma, Stones will get a + 1 to 89. Martial will probably get a + 2 to 89 based on his hype.

Zouma should but I think Chelsea's form will stop SM from giving him a rise :(

A big reason I barely post in the football forum these days.

We've pushed Martial out wide, and also he is marked out of it as at least 2 and often 3 players chase him down as soon as he is on the ball. We are too predictable and relying on him. Look back to Adnans impact for Moyes. As soon as he was no longer Unknown he was easily handled and marked out of it. I fear the same for Lingard currently. We need to give options to these young lads, not give them the ball and give the responsibility of everything.

We need Martial up top and utilising space, not directing our play. He is still very raw but does have everything needed to develop and lead us. We just can't rely on him as yet, he needs support from the players around him.

That's what I fear about Lingard too Ando, it's even worse given he's English and for whatever reason the Caf are always harder on our English players. It's a bit bewildering how people have simply thrown Memphis aside as being a flop after only a few months living in our country. You'd think they'd have learnt their lesson with Evra and Vidic.

Perhaps I simply miss the sensible posts in the deluge of shite.

This is spot on as from experience it's always the older users who voice their concerns whenever a new user interface is introduced, they say it's the worst update ever, threaten to leave the game etc. We've ran numerous focus groups showing them both the new and old user interface. The feedback for the new UI on both the desktop and app has been extremely positive as they've said it's very modern, slick and easy to use. Whereas with the current UI they've said it's not user friendly, hard to navigate and they wouldn't even use the app.

We're all wrong guys because Focus Groups says so.

Well that's bull, he's deluded.

They'll use any excuse to ensure the interface goes live. They've spent too much time and resources on it to give up. So we're stuck with it. Which means when we can no longer us the old interface i'll have to quit. I just can't stand that new interface any longer, it's bloody awful.

We'll just need to find a new fantasy football game :p

I'm sure you and a few other managers can make it so we can use the current interface, naw ma sayin? You're not going anywhere.

I'm sure a logical and acceptable solution can be found once RS has finished picking his toys up. :p

Rumours in the Manchester Evening News that United's bench for tonight's game will be better than the first XI being fielded. Matip, Gaya and Stones (latter recovering from injury) didn't travel to the Stadium of Light.

The player values change will have a huge impact on small teams.
Player Values
  • The algorithm for calculating a player's value has been changed to also include the player's potential rating and their morale, as well as what was taken into account before: rating; age; position.
  • The players potential rating is the same value that is worked out on a daily cron and used in the single player game.
  • As a player's morale decreases, so does his value. This should help stop “player hogging” as players who are not played and develop concerns will now also lose value. This should also help smaller clubs pick up better players for cheaper than their value and increase that value as the players morale increases.
  • Player values will be the same for all clubs looking at the same player, meaning big clubs can compete for players again. There is a small range from the minimum bid possible and maximum bid possible. To increase the emphasis on cash in the game, clubs with more cash have a greater max cap to bid for a player.
  • Players are also worth the same when offering in part exchange deals. There is no longer one chairman valuing a different from the other.

Finally. Would prefer it if they had swapped it so other chairman values player higher like it used to be but that'll do.

GOAL!! - ALVES is at full stretch but the ball goes in perfectly to the top corner of the goal.
STERLING gets a firm header on goal.
DEPAY takes the corner towards the back post.
An attempted cross is deflected out for a corner to Manchester United.
