I am so unhappy with not being able to even bid for keepers, mine got a 4 tonight, a fecking 4. we scored 3 times away from home against a decent side and my keeper gets a 4, we concede 5. fecking ridiculous. might as well play without a fecking keeper. shitty game.
How come you can't bid on goalkeepers?
Have you checked with teams that have more than one high-rated keepers (87 and above)? One of them is bound to have concern
looking at the bid you just put in, getting a goalkeeper should be no problem at allUntil you get a better keeper in you could loan Paul Nardi (83 rated... better than playing a 78 in goal anyway)
every time i bid on a half decent keeper it pops up and says that i can't bid on one of the last 2 keepers, i made a very reasonable offer to watford for Navas but it wouldn't let me do that as it was a COM manager and there was an application in which was fair enough all be it frustrating.

Yeah, looks much better now. They've added a 10% value drop for each level of concern and also player values start to decline once they reach 27 years old.
I think there's also 5 value tiers for each rating. So: Average, Good, Very Good, Excellent, Godlike.
Yeah that's sensible. Just looked at the values of my United players and prior to the latest value change the total value was 541.5M and now its 867.3M

Problem I see with it is still the same as now. Money isn't a useful tool, managers who own the top players won't sell for money (with a few exceptions). If I offered you £47,766,433 for Luke Shaw would you accept?

That's why there should be release clauses imo. If your club gets relegated, or don't qualify for Europe then your player (if he had orange morale) should be available at a specific value (say 75% of the top value). Then simply have player rating determine what the release clauses are, so Neymar would want to be playing in Europe, so if his morale then dropped down to orange anyone could bid for him and I as the Manager would be powerless to stop him leaving. I think that's a fair system.

Ask Herrera over on SM, he had got himself to that stage before fecking it up. Think it's something to do with your rep level on Soccer wiki, you need to accumulate certain number of points.
