Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Hey, I am in Div 2, had feck all, but following a few lucky breaks have a completely over hauled team and about 5m in the bank. Don't worry, scout.

Thanks mate. Must admit though I worry about how I will do in Div 2 with the lack of finances I have.
Leeds started this season with a team full of shit and 3m in the bank... You'll be fine.

I give up with this game. There is basically no use for money, it's a completely redundant resource as no feckers will sell any of their players. It's taken me two fecking years to get a decent amount of money and it's fecking worthless.

Meanwhile because I've spent the time to actually build up a good squad, those with small squads get money for fecking nothing because they're "at a disadvantage". So what about a club like mine that's taken forever to build up and stuck at a shitty stadium size which means I can't afford to pay high wages anyway even if it was possible to sign high rated players.

While Damien who's got the advantage of being at Old Trafford can amass almost double the income of my club for home matches alone. So he basically gets 45m every SM Season more than I do for simply being Manchester United.

I've spent all this time trying to build up my squad and now that i'm making progress i've also realised that i'll be struggling to pay the wages soon which means i'll have to start dismantling my side again just to stay even.

Why has it taken me thing long to realise how fecking bollocks this game is?

You can afford to pay those absurd transfers Damien. Your finances are absurd and because you've paid that much all other managers expect it which means I have no hope of signing anyone without paying top, top dollar which I simply can't afford with my bollocks stadium. Its taken me 2 years to make 50m and it takes you 1 SM Season to make that from your home games alone.

I'm not having a go at you Damien. I'm just so fecking frustrated with these wanker developers who are taking the game in completely the wrong direction and simply punishing the small clubs yet even more. I finally have some money in the bank and can't even find a use for it. I may as well have just kept all of my players and not sold anyone.

It takes so fecking long for players to rise now too. I was patiently waiting for some of my low 80 players to rise in the recent reviews but none have. I have Bailly as an example stuck on 83 despite playing 100% for Villarreal who is 1st in La Liga! How the feck does that not warrant a fecking rise?

Meanwhile you have players like Rossi and Lamela who are still 91? I mean feck Jovetic should have dropped down to 89 by now given how shit he was at Manchester City. So you have a game where the match engine is appalling, who's resources are broken and the player ratings which is the fundamental element of the game is slow and full of errors. But don't worry lads! They're adding some new GUIs!!!!

Rubbish.

Yet they won't actually fix the game because they destroyed their forums with yet another useless and terrible GUI update. They have a community manager who doesn't respond to any posts and instead updates us on great new "features" which break the fecking game and when this is pointed out he ignores.

So they don't actually listen to the community because they destroyed the community with their fecking awful forum update and when someone does make a decent point it gets bloody ignored. It's no shock that everyone left. This is a lesson in how not to develop a game.

/rant over (maybe)

My god. Just noticed the rant.

Chill out RS. It's shit and we've all known for a while. Hopefully the new match engine fixes things. The developers are bloody daft so it is what it is really. Don't get a stroke because of it. :p

Quite a few interesting fixtures in Division 1 tonight:
  • Spurs will win their first ever title after nine seasons in the SM league if they beat West Ham United and Aston Villa fail to beat Blackburn Rovers
  • If Liverpool lose to Manchester City and Milton Keynes Dons and West Ham United win their fixtures, Liverpool will be relegated
  • Manchester United and Nottingham Forest face each other for the first time after United's shock 7:1 victory. It is expected that Forest will get their revenge.
  • Milton Keynes Dons and Sunderland face each other in a relegation showdown. If Sunderland win, safety is pretty much secured while MK Dons will be in a shootout for the last relegation spot. If MK Dons win, and Spurs win their game then both Sunderland and MK Dons will be in a good position to survive

If redsky is right Chelsea and Everton are going head to head for the last euros spot

Need a win.

So many fecking injuries and suspensions. Robben, fabregas and Pique all out. Fabregas still serving the suspension while Pique is injured again just as he was for a long time recently.
