Gaming The SM RedCafe League

He's not a dud. You just have no patience which everyone can see. Knoche is at a club who's cap is around 92, he's at 89. He can rise to 90 as long as he gets back to being first choice which given he has been for 2 seasons now isn't unreasonable. Just like i'm sticking with Arnold who's 88 rated at Wolfsburg and not playing.

Just like i'm sticking with Willems, Sanson, Marin who all have long term injuries. Just like i'm sticking with N'Jie, Baba, Munir who can't seem to get off the bench at the moment. All are risers, all are struggling to get playing time but all have potential to rise fast if you have patience and accept that being benched is part of reality when you're young.

You can afford to do that but Herrera can't. By comparison you have an average playing age of 24 and he 28 with your average team rating 91 and his 90 where most of his high rated players are in their 30's. So spending £18m on someone who will unlikely rise in 2-3 SM seasons isn't that wise.

That's why I've said I wanted to create a backbone of young players and fill the other positions with youngsters as that would allow me to spend £7-8m on youngsters.

When I took over Wolves I cleared out the squad and was keeping only U25 but it simply wasn't viable because there was no cash flow and no chance to compete.

@LitterBug clubs sell "talent" when they see there's not much potential. Doesn't mean they are always right. Fekir is a good example

RS has explained why that was which is what I've been saying. We're at a stage now where a handful of clubs have no reason to sell unless they've no potential.

Anyways as I said no point going on. No one will change their ways as they have no reason to so the only way to do it seemed for it to be forced upon them. None of this would happen if more of you were like Big-Red. Don't use players sell them. Don't hoard them because they are useful for 5-6 cup games for you when they could be useful to another team for 40 games. Use youngsters for that like teams do in real life or just suffer a little with fitness issues like the rest of us do.

If some of you cnuts were a little courteous there'd be no need for FFP or these discussions.

Fin.

Looooving the compliments from @LitterBug so I'm gonna back him up here

Seriously though your courtesy in the game is admirable. You sold me Walker and Alonso at reasonable prices too and Inigo to Arsenal while Cnuts like Damien take piss saying can't sell X and Y because they're fan favourites :wenger: even though he has enough quality players to build 3 teams to compete consecutively!!!

He's not like that if you miss an open goal on rocket League. ;)

Is this the steam based game with a thread in the general? Zarlak had created it I think? I have been meaning to take a look but have been busy.

Nah, it's like Top Gear car football but with rocket powered cars. Available on xbox, ps and PC. We all play on PS4. Yes it has it's own thread in the Entertainment forum.

Look at all you rich cnuts and your PS4's! I've not even used my 3 in ages, since I completed GTA V probably :(

Will keep an eye on Kondogbia and Romagnoli tonight. Who knows? Maybe even Rey Manaj features, if he's on the bench that is. Inter - AC Milan, 19:45 GMT.

He sold you Walker for £10.5M and Alonso for £15M along with Inigo for £18M! (he's 24/89), yet me selling McCarthy for nearly half that is outrageous. Mmkay.

£18M Inigo's caps for Spain: 1
Real Sociedad's position in La Liga this season: 13th
£10M McCarthy's caps for Ireland: 29
Everton's position in the Premier League this season: 6th

Seriously LB, there's no difference in BR selling Walker, Alonso and Inigo to me selling Papadopoulos, Nasri and McCarthy yet you've got the pitchforks out for me.

Bundesliga
  • Joël Matip starts for Schalke 04
  • Leon Goretzka starts for Schalke 04
La Liga
  • Bernard Mensah unused sub for Getafe
Segunda Division
  • José Ángel Pozo on the bench for Almeria
Premier League
  • Adama Traoré injured for Villa
Late Games
  • Karim Rekik (20/86)
  • Ricardo Horta (20/85)

Inigo was sold to arsenal and has more potential than mccarthy imo. One of him or laporte will end up at barca.

18M though! LB made it sound like BR sold him for a packet of chocolate digestives or something. Can't see him going to Barca. Laporte will though.

Yeah varun overpaid for that signing, although he paid extra for BR to keep it quiet. Am still hoping we buy laporte and as inigo is the next best young spanish CB,barca can go for him :D

I'm not in any way making these predictions so i go to safer ground :wenger:

Everton back on track after 1-0 away to Wolves. It might not have been deserved but Sirigu had a great game.
