Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Fitness issues for Newcastle. I'll need a reshuffle with me also playing Spurs on Sunday.

La Liga taking aaaaaages to be done

Youth table is looking interesting... only 9 days after I updated it and there's a number of changes. @Varun is only 1.0 away from overtaking Barney into 4th position! While Akash is 0.2 away from over taking @JB7

As to be expected given my La Liga crew, Forest are top of the score change on +6.4, Everton are second on +5.3 and Sunderland 3rd on +5.0

I'm expecting this to change completely by the time La Liga is finished and then we'll be pushing on the Premier League review.

Has barney's total changed or am I simply on 40.4?

You're on 40.5 and Barneys currently at 41.4 (no change). But I have taken into account the transfer of Mane.

I had missed the msg about the bid being accepted and absolutely panicked when you name dropped him.

Arsenal are delighted to announce the signing of the exciting young talent, Carlos Mane from Sporting.

Dubbed the "New Ronaldo", Arsenal are awaiting the future where they have 2 Ronaldo's on either flank having already secured the signing of the last "New Ronaldo", Armindo Bruma.

Isnt he struggling at galatasaray?

I've taken a punt at the young Porto striker Paciencia. Done well in his bit part u21 championship for Portugal. Hope he gets a few minutes this season for Porto.

Naah, He's a greedy top talent. Playing plenty there but hasnt settled at Turkey which isnt a surprise to anyone but him and his agent. Linked to moves to Dortmund, back to Sporting etc. Massively talented kid, should be back in Europe soon.

the league is a mess, only reason I havent quit is because the option of raiding clubs in the same league is available now. So many good players in the team. I have totally lost interest though.

Some absolute beauty signings in there. Had a good year. I sold another 26 players (which were signed between May 14 and May 15). So 47 players purchased.

ffs the thread title...Damo's heinous and bully type jinxing of small club Villa!

Home record in league for Aston Villa: 5 played 5 wins. Away: 4 played 1 win, 2 draw, 1 loss. Away tonight so inevitable loss coming up.

It isn't jinxing, it is a fact. You've been on a terrific run of form. That kind of form is identical to how I did last season and I cruised the league. You'll do the same.

but my squad isn't good enough. Sooner or later will start sliding down. It is just Dzeko scoring for now...
btw top 12 clubs get in Europe here? 4+8?

Yes, top 12. Doesn't matter. Your squad is probably better than the squad @RedSky had when he won the league a few seasons back. The momentum is with you. Enjoy it.

Manchester United XI to face West Ham:

De Gea (92)

Ramos (95) Kompany (94) Shaw (88)

Griezmann (91) Isco (91) Pogba (92) Eriksen (91) Bale (94)

Götze (93) Messi (99)

Lost 1-0 to Plymouth, which isn't so bad considering how good they are, with my left-back in a terrible condition and Montolivo out for fitness reasons.

2:2 draw. Annoyingly Bale got sent off in first half and will miss the next three matches.

Manchester United injuries and suspensions so far this season

Date ¦ Player ¦ Inj/Sus ¦ Games missed

07-Jun-15 ¦ Alarcón Isco ¦ Injured (2 days) ¦ 1 - 2:1 win to FC Porto (H)
11-Jun-15 ¦ Gareth Bale ¦ Injured (12 days) ¦ 5 - 3:2 win to Chelsea (A), 3:0 win to PSG (A), 1:0 win to Newcastle United (H), 2:1 win to Milton Keynes Dons (A), 3:1 win to Wolfsburg (H)
14-Jun-15 ¦ Antoine Griezmann ¦ Injured (3 days) ¦ 1 - 3:0 win to PSG (A)
28-Jun-15 ¦ Christian Eriksen ¦ Suspended (3 games) ¦ 3 - Shield bye, 3:2 defeat to Stoke City, 2:1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur
02-Jul-15 ¦ Vincent Kompany ¦ Injured (4 days) ¦ 1 - 2:1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur (A)
02-Jul-15 ¦ Ricardo Rodríguez ¦ Injured (3 weeks, 4 days) ¦ 12 - 2:1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur (A), 2:0 win v PSG (H), 9:0 win v Stockport County (A), 1:1 draw v West Ham (H), Southampton (A), Wolfsburg (A), Middlesbrough (H), Blackburn Rovers (H), Manchster City (A), Aston Villa (H), Sunderland (H), Wolves (A)
09-Jul-15 ¦ Gareth Bale ¦ Suspended (3 games) ¦ 3 - Southampton (A), Middlesbrough (H), Blackburn Rovers (H)

Funnily enough since Bale came back from his injury, I've not won in the league

Finally points on the board from an away draw. Not too bad but was hoping for a win considering Everton went down to 10!

Opposition keeper MOTM for the fourth time against us this season in the league.

Manchester United La Liga Players:

1st - Barcelona ¦ MESSI, Lionel (28/99)
1st - Barcelona ¦ TRAORÉ, Adama (19/83)
2nd - Real Madrid ¦ RAMOS, Sergio (29/95)
2nd - Real Madrid ¦ BALE, Gareth (25/94)
2nd - Real Madrid ¦ ISCO, Alarcón (23/91)
2nd - Real Madrid ¦ SILVA, Lucas (22/87)
3rd - Atlético Madrid ¦ GRIEZMANN, Antoine (24/91)
4th - Valencia CF ¦ GOMES, André (21/88)
4th - Valencia CF ¦ GAYA, Josè Luis (20/86)
9th - Málaga CF ¦ HORTA, Ricardo (20/85)
  • Traoré probably won't get a rise due to Barcelona B being relegated.
  • Messi, Ramos and Bale won't get rises either due to being at rating peak or not been good enough to get one.
  • Lucas won't get a rise due to lack of playing time.
  • Horta probably won't get rise due to Málaga CF finishing 9th.
  • Everyone else should get a rise.
Red = didn't rise

Annoying thing about my players teams doing so well. Where abouts are SM up to in terms of reviews? 7th or 8th?

Yeah... so annoying! Jeez, silly players doing so well!

Sevilla and Valencia up next. Then I imagine they'll spend 3 days to get Atletico/Real/Barcelona done. So imagine La Liga will be done on Monday.
