I have 5 La Liga players? Hmmm, funny. I can only recall Pepe right now.

Arsenal are delighted to welcome Matija Nastasic to the club. He joins from Villa in a swap deal including Shaqiri. The club would like to thank Shaqiri for his services.

Arsenal would also like to bid farewell to Gaal Clichy who is now having his medical at Sunderland.

Vietto only gets a + 1 to 88. Laughable when you consider the Serie A rises.

I don't know why you fail to accept that Italian teams did the best in Europe this season despite not winning anything. If you look at the UEFA Coefficient I think they will marginally be bigger risers than Spanish teams for the year.

It's not how ratings have worked in the past. It shouldn't allow the entire Serie A to have rises thrown at their players, that's not how rating systems work, its just another example of how flawed Soccerwiki is because the people who decide the ultimate ratings are completely biased.

Also, this bit of your post is hilarious. I assume they're the moral winners right? Riiiight?

I too was surprised at him only getting an 88, thought he'd go to 89. Must admit though that the flawed Serie A review had led to bigger expectations.

Its in relation to the UEFA Coefficient. That's how I'd explain it. Did many outside the top 7 who were in Europe get big unexpected rises?

In other completely unconnected news... just testing how the up/down looks on the youth table.

@Damien you think that looks ok?

Nice, So now most likely 2-3 managed teams are going down to division 3, the game is getting better by the day.

I wish I could loan out my players. A quick nap and all my loan bids had collapsed;(

Mine was worse. I was online, bids didn't come so I switched to the mk2 league for barely 5mins.switched back to see deals already collapsed.

Second division is as depressing as I thought it would be. All sorts of dodgy bookkeeping needed to get this team promoted.

Well the league has been going for three years! In past year or so we've implemented rules to make things a bit fairer to new teams, but there's still lots of competition to find star youngsters for the future. Ratings are based on real life so during pre-season in real life/start of the new seasons in August have a look at teams and see which young players or whatever they're blooding through then go for them.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, am looking at a lot of stuff at the moment, finding my feet.

I think I won both bidding wars today...Hopefully they both turn out to be worth it.

The mighty Wolves have been doing double training sessions this week in order to prepare for Arsenal.

A record crowd is expected to turn up and cheer the team on to victory. The manager has asked for calm from the team and has placed importance on a good performance.
