Everton has made Division 1 history today by being the first club to officially announce an inner league partnership with Divison 2 side Nottingham Forest.
Syndey Martinez's men have enjoyed a successful pre season campaign and beat Getafe in their opening European match 2-1 last night.
Everton will now link up with Nottingham Forest in order to snap up their best youth prospects in future years. In return they will help the Division 2 club to grow.
Nottingham Forest chairman Frank Clark revealed: “Everton’s officials were great, not only giving our club respect but being fair in the partnerships deal. This will certainly provide us with a solid platform to allow the club to move forwards in the coming months."
It's understood that part of the deal sees promising forward Emboaba Oscar go to Forest on a season long loan. A friendly has been been organised between the clubs to be played at Goodison Park on the 28th March.
