Thanks. I thought the decision was based on more than that. We both made player swap offers, but their player used is a lot more valuable than mine. Doesn't matter if it doesn't happen as I don't expect it to but it's worth a try.

What matters is not solely the value, but the evaluation of the president of the club of those players.

A player worth 2M can be valued at 1M or 3M by the president of the CPU club (you can see this when you're making the bid). I don't know what influences this, but I read somewhere it's the age, the salaries and if that club lacks players for that position.
 
Does anyone know what happens in the case of in-match injuries or sendings off?

You can set up subs for certain scorelines and that, but what if a player gets injured during the game? Does the AI take over for you? Can it alter your formation to fit a change? What if a CB gets sent off? Will the game just continue with a CB missing or will it take off an attacking player and fill the gap?

Say you're playing a rather attacking formation in a big game and you lose one of your center backs via dismissal in the first half; if the game doesn't recognise the need for tactical adjustment, even if it's just a case of bringing on a sub CB for an attacking player and completing the back four, then you're just gonna get absolutely hammered every time.
 
So yesterday was the fourth time that I tried to flog off Joey Barton in a p/ex deal and it has been refused. fecking cnut Barton.

Both our bids have been accepted now, so we'll see who he picks.
 
Sir Solius in furious attack on Bosnian Red

Southampton manager Sir Solius has launched a scathing attack on Brighton manager Bosnian Red after a last minute bid by them put the brakes on talented centre-back Henrique Buss' move to the Saints from Barcelona.

Solius was at the unveiling of his seven new signings and was quoted as saying "I really cannot believe it. The sheer audacity of them. We spent fecking ages working on getting him. We did all the work, got him to come to England, bought his family a house and gave them jobs cleaning our toilets, and then those pricks come in attempting to get him."

Henrique is said to now be considering both offers after Bosnian Red burst into Southampton's training ground and dramatically dived in slow motion between the pen Buss was holding, and the contract he was about to sign. He then offered him his own contract at Brighton, a move which infuriated Sir Solius.

"It was some action movie shit. I hope he doesn't think that will win him over" said Solius. "I know people. I know people in places. If he goes there I can guarantee you there will be trouble. Gareth Barry got his brown belt in karate yesterday and he's ready to sort someone out."

I'll only think about loaning someone who is 85 or above nowadays (possibly 84 depending on who it is)... that is the nature of the competition in the Championship these days!
