Cheers mate. It isnt done yet and one never knows with p/ex deals but yeah, delighted to have him. Been a good day of transfers for me. Got Zelalem too, both leagues at that :)

And yeah, Phil was saying something similar. Generally happens with me too with the chairman acting the cnut. Glad it didnt this time, really wanted him.
 
First time the chairmans cunted me on a deal, could hardly bid anything near to what I wanted to.

Shit, just logged in to cancel the offer on the table for Ibarbo to see he's already completed his transfer to the club. That's £6m wasted. :mad:

Unless he does end up going to Barcelona in the summer anyway.

Goo solid 1-0 win over Swansea. 4 games 7 points and already played United and Chelsea. Satisfied with the start to the season.

Dempsey cant score in a brothel atm though. Worry that.

Nottingham Forest:

Yeeeees!!!! 4-0 away win to Bolton. Annoyingly after such a good result, i'm only up 1 position. Damn. Either way, that's another game unbeaten. My luck must surely run out soon.

I needed a win though. Still to play United, Spurs and Forest so that's pretty much it for the CL spots. To top it all off, Robben joines Ibra in the injury list. :( Not just league games, both will miss the CL tie too vs United.
 
A draw does me fine for now. Realistically, only Chelsea left who should beat me. Well on paper at least.

Beat Everton 3-2, so I think I'm third now. Very tough game at home to Wolves up next though. A probable banana skin.
 
Last six league games of the season for me:
  1. Wolves (H)
  2. Aston Villa (A)
  3. West Brom (H)
  4. Arsenal (A)
  5. QPR (H)
  6. Reading (A)
City and Arsenal have a tougher end to the season, so fingers crossed I'll be finishing in the top four.

Yeah, doesnt look good. But iirc, I qualified quite early and then played the 2nd team to give them gametime. Not sure though. Its pretty bad nonetheless. And now with both Ibra and Robben out, writing on the wall pretty much. :(

No CL next year too so this was the last chance for a while. feck.

I'm probably looking at getting a similar number of points (10-12) if optimistic. My form has been a bit weird lately though so who knows what'll happen?
