Gaming The SM RedCafe League

Well done Damo...

I had my eye on your score throughout my game...when I saw that City and Arsenal were both losing, and you were only 1-0 up, I got a bit excited, but Bolton dampened that excitement by going 2-0 up...

Great season all round really, and still got a chance to win a trophy at the end of it against Arsenal...

Onwards and upwards to next season.

Think a few reinforcements are needed for squad depth...and need to look at replacing David Villa as he's getting on a bit...

Finished 16th. Could've been a few places higher had I beat Forest. 16th isn't great, but my points total was okay. I'll be concentrating on the league this season after winning trophies in my previous two seasons.

Sturridge for £12m is a steal by Spurs. Surprised no one else was in for him.

Its a super deal.

I'd have been in for him had it not been for the wages I already have at the club. Already got Kiessling who am struggling to give games to.

Ohh, and I dont have the 12mil either

Could do with offloading Mandzukic or Mirallas now though, a bit forward heavy, only so many I can keep happy and don't fancy boosting wages.

Yep, 3-4 is ideal. More than that and you'l struggle to give them enough games specially as they want quite a bit gametime if they're rated 90 or above.

Negotiations, my favourite part of SM

Well it looks like my squads value has gone up by 30m since the last pre season. Having a quick look (can't be all that accurate as not all of the loans have returned yet).

Looks like Liverpool are one of the clubs to make a huge loss. His squad valued has decreased by 51.8m! Wolves have also made a loss of 28.9m. While Tottenham, Arsenal and City may also drop in value, but they have a lot of players on loan still.

Middlesbrough have made 21m squad value increase, Baggies have made 33.2m (with still 1 player on loan).

Yeah, I've just recalled the last few players now all the games have finished and my squad values gone up by 31.9m since last pre season. Pretty happy with that all things considered.

Oh and unlucky Wednesday! Isn't that like two seasons in a row now? :(

Yep. Pretty gutted about that, I really thought tonight was a huge opportunity. Was up against a side that wasn't as strong as others I'd faced and I don't really expect certain teams to be as beatable again next season, plus Darlington willing a huge threat. I think it's fair to say I'd have probably won the game had Leandro Damiao not got sent off in the first half, but to draw the game still (after being 2-0 up no less) and ultimately lose on penalties is so bloody frustrating.

Needed that promotion as well!

So, who has landed Strootman? :nervous:

Few of my youths getting nice increases into the low 80s. Long may it continue!

You can never tell, but i'm not very confident anymore...

I haven't won a transfer battle in.... forever. My chairmen never gives me enough max value for some reason.

My deal came to over 19mill anyways, but it could go to anyone by the looks of it. I have a better chance with him than a certain defender people are prob maxing their bid on :p

Young Norwich talent Josh Murphy is incoming, surprised they was no competition.

Well done, Barney. Got no idea how to turn things around in draft league. Had a set formation and style in mind and it went poo.

Meanwhile, beat Carlisle 8-3 in today's friendly in this league. Next season fixtures are revealed on Tuesday...
