Gaming The SM RedCafe League

RS pretty much ended my title challenge :(. Botlon's to lose now really. What a season he's had.

Six teams.
Four places.
Two games to go.

1. Bolton Wanderers - 68 points (+31 GD)
Coventry City (H)
Blackburn Rovers (A)

2. Manchester City - 67 points (+27 GD)
Arsenal (A)
Wolverhampton Wanderers (H)

3. Manchester United - 65 points (+36 GD)
Fulham (H)
Aston Villa (A)

4. Arsenal - 65 points (+35 GD)
Manchester City (H)
Everton (A)

5. Chelsea - 63 points (+38 GD)
Blackburn Rovers (H)
Fulham (A)

6. Tottenham Hotspur - 62 points (+21 GD)
Aston Villa (H)
Middlesbrough (A)

And how a top six "mini league" looks:

City play against Arsenal tonight, so if Bolton win their game tonight, at least one of the current top four will be out of the title race, and surely the title will be pretty much sewn up.

feck it. Ballsed up my sub, had Alaba playing right wing for 45mins.

Beat Fulham 3-1 :)

Top ten:

01. Manchester United - 68 points (+38 GD)
02. Arsenal - 68 points (+36 GD)
03. Bolton Wanderers - 68 points (+30 GD)
04. Manchester City - 67 points (+26 GD)
05. Chelsea - 66 points (+39 GD)
06. Everton - 62 points (+27 GD)
07. Nottingham Forest - 62 points (+25 GD)
08. Tottenham Hotspur - 62 points (+20 GD)
09. Newcastle United - 59 points (+6 GD)
10. Aston Villa - 58 points (+4 GD)

That top five with just one game to go. Mental.

Woooo beat Big-Red in both gameworlds, how you like them apples?

HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

If Villa beat United on the final day, then it's likely the whole top ten could finish on 60+ points - in seasons 1, 2 and 3, it was the top six, five and five respectively that achieved 60+ points.

Best league in the world innit?

I'm just happy to guarantee myself a top 10 finish, had a proper shit start. Was dreading these last 2 games as if I'd lost both then West Brom could of beaten me to 10th.

Needed European football to maintain my squad's wages and the such.

Sick of this bollocks. 1-1 home draw with Swansea. Terrible result.

Darlington up above me into the playoffs going into the final day.

fecked off with my results lately. My tactics are fecked in both leagues, after a great initial run. This game has me on the brink. I can't seem to do any better. Same position and points as last season, I see that as a big step backwards.

Above Tottenham, strong end to the season, but with a very tough fixture against Liverpool.

Bolton are the only team to have done the double on me. Such a great season for Bolton, congrats mate.

So I need United, City, Bolton and Arsenal to lose or draw their last game, and I need to win mine to take the title on goal difference...

A tough ask, but I'm glad to be in the mix on the last day...again my poor start to the season comes back to haunt me...

A typical result this season would be all the top 4 losing or drawing, and then I feck it up by losing to Fulham...

I may consider selling Lewandowski after Thursday. The criteria for the deal would be:

- 2 Players P/E
- Players must be aged 24 or younger
- Players must be 90 rated or above
- Will want money with the deal as well

That's quite a list.

Quite a player too so fair enough, would love to see how many clubs can offer what you want.

Just seen that I will be playing Arsenal in the European Cup Final...

Should be a good game, and would be a nice end to the season to pick up another trophy...

It'l be a cracking game mate. Would be nice to win something this season.

Huge night tonight with a lot to play for in all divisions.

In Division 1, relegation and the top 10 is sorted, but the top four and title winner are still to be determined - with five teams competing for it:

Tonight's final games featuring those teams:

Aston Villa (10th) - Manchester United (1st)
Everton (6th) - Arsenal (2nd)
Blackburn Rovers (14th) - Bolton Wanderers (3rd)
Manchester City (4th) - Wolverhampton Wanderers (16th)
Fulham (13th) - Chelsea (5th)

In Division 2, the title still has to be determined (as well as automatic promotion), with four teams fighting for two spots, while three teams are competing for the final play-off spot. Relegation is sorted:

Games featuring teams competing for the title/automatic promotion:

Swansea City (10th) - Reading (1st)
Birmingham City (16th) - Bristol City (2nd)
Doncaster Rovers (20th) - Stoke City (3rd)
Ipswich Town (17th) - Hull City (4th)

Games featuring teams competing for the final play-off spot:

Plymouth Argyle (9th) - Sheffield Wednesday (6th)
Norwich City (12th) - Darlington (7th)
Cardiff City (14th) - Leeds United (8th)

And in Division 3, the title has been decided (Carlisle United won it), but the second automatic promotion place is still to be determined with two teams competing for that, while only one relegation spot is still up for grabs, with two teams competing for that too.

Games featuring teams competing for the second automatic promotion place:

Chesterfield (7th) - Watford (2nd)
Aldershot Town (20th) - Tranmere Rovers (3rd)

Games featuring teams competing to avoid relegation:

Preston North End (17th) - Bury (18th)

In Division 4, the one managed team has won the title (congrats, Crewe) and in Division 5, the one managed team has got automatic promotion (congrats, Oxford).

Such a huge fecking game and am missing both Zlatan and Chillieni. :(

Cmon Villa, get something out of the United game. Hoping to sneak a victory at the Goodison, will be really tough though.

Ecstatic. Been a great, competitive season this time around. So tense till the end.

City out of the top four for the first season ever.

Congrats Bolton and Forest on great first seasons in Division 1, and congrats to all who finished in the European places.

Yep, been an absolutely fantastic season. 5 teams in with a chance to win it going to the last game, cant ask for more.

Forest and Bolton have been just incredible specially Bolton. What a season for them.

Yessssss! 2-0 down at half time, won 3-2. Bring on the play-offs!

Well done Damo!

After a shite end to the season, still got a club record of 61 points. Still finished lower than last season mind, top 10 (excluding top four actually) raised the bar this season from 4-8points. Well done all.

Everton finish ahead of me by 1 Goal! Damn you TR!

Well done Damo, that was a terrific end to the season, so tight at the top. Well done Wednesday as well, that was close!

Good season that chaps. Very close title race. I'm having a few issues with unhappy players which is pissing me off no end. Both my goalkeepers are unhappy about lack of games, feck knows how that is possible, as are both Baines and Benteke.

The better your squad gets the harder it is to please everyone seemingly.

Congrats Damo. Well deserved.

Scraped 4th place

Quality keepers want to play 90%+ of games so you can't have two highly rated keepers as it's impossible to keep both happy.

Goalkeepers are worked out slightly differently, with your highest rated and those 88 or above expecting to play in approximately 90% of games.

2nd place before the last round, ready for promotion, only to lose out in the very last round. It's the curse of the bottler. Almost doesn't cut it. Bet it goes to shit in the play-offs as well.
