Another player for whom bids from WBA and Sunderland both accepted. we've been fighting over players like hell the past week or so

Who has the higher bid this time - or is it part exchange?

His bid is a player+1mil, Mine 2 players. Total Worth would be very close, dont know which s higher.

Do external clubs have a preference for cash?

Nah, they just go for whichever value adds up to the most so if you're bidding full whack on a player it is usually better to put in two players that the other team's chairman values higher than from just cash alone.

I see. My total Added up to 10mil I Think. Should Just sneak it i Reckon but his bid will be around the Same mark.

Dont the player value increase as soon as the rating increases? Had a player go up 6 in rating but no increase in price.

depends on the rating of your squad. A 80 rated player will be worth more at a club average rating of 86 rather than a club rating og 89. Hence why lower league clubs asking price for a player is sometimes more than our chairman is willing to pay.

feck. sucks then. paid 51k for him, rating rose by 6 and he's now worth 40k

No point buying risers in the 60-70 rating range then?

They're long term investments mate. Realistically, they'll need 2/3 rating rises to get above 1m. I bought a 60 rated player and he's just gone up +16 and he's only worth 450k. However, if he jumps up another 6/7 in the next review then it'll be 2m odd.

The best way to make money with Risers is buying in the 77-79 range.

Well that means its only worth buying young risers. I though a 5-6 rating point increase itself would make money for me. I bought a few well into their 20s :D

the mighty geordie reserves are out of the cups. they served me well. A good 20 added to the loan list

Obviously I am going to have another moan about you and that Cider chap with your loan hogging.

Slightly tongue in cheek, however alot of our wage bills would be lower (and both of yours drastically higher) if some more space was freed up for loaning between the divisions.

Important thing is, City's loan bill add up to more than mine though a lot of mine are in their last year so when renewing my loan bill will go up a fair bit.

Middlesbrough away tonight and Chelsea at home on Sunday. Two tough fixtures with a few more to come. Ideally would need a win tonight but it won't be easy. On Sunday anything other than a loss would do, but for that I'd want a win as well.

Damo should do the honorable thing and let me have some of his best loan players for free.

Lost 2-0 to Villa :(

Thankfully, the 2 above me lost as well but Pool won. Ridiculously close at both ends of the table.

sweet, big win against Sunderland. alot of the teams just above me won, and alot of the teams below lost.

Started off with a bang and defeated Wigan 3-0.

The English Drogba I.e Andy Carroll scoring two.

Chelsea have gone from 1 point clear in 1st to 4th on goal difference now after today's games  Don't know why I'm laughing - will probably pay the price on Sunday.

Had the chance to really climb into the title battle in division 3, but league leaders Darlington got lucky in the 88th minute and it ended 0-1. 49-51 % possession, but I dominated shots stats. Annoying as hell!

Yeah, raking in the cash for a big transfer perhaps. Am waiting for Damo to recall and sell his loanees too. Too high a wage bill for a club in the relegation dogfight atm.

I managed to put out my last loan today. Squad is now at minimum size so can't loan out anymore (there's only Castillo left who I'd like to loan out but his wages are just 7k).

I'll be recalling some players to sell after today's match so other clubs should be able to send out more players on loan.

Annoying that the three keepers I've got haven't risen yet...

Good to know damo.

Btw, i drew but another sending off. Paulinho decided to shout abuses at the ref and got a 2nd booking. khedira did the same and got a yellow. need to set tackling to normal it seems.

3 teams on 21 points now with pool on 19. will be very tight.

edit- good to know bit was for you selling your loanees :p
