Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I am impressed with the response to this tournament. Well done. Two more teams required and we can iron out the details. I am interested in hearing from sides outside division one especially.

Many thanks.

If we get more than 8 sides myself and RS will take a look at the applicants and make a decision on who is to be invited and who is to be welcome next season.

Sign me up TR

Everton
Nottingham Forest
Sunderland
United
WBA
Newcastle
Spurs

Looking to reduce the total wages at the club, quite a few players up for loan if anyone from the lower division want them.

So the Cup has a number of interested participants. Thus far we have:

Everton
Nottingham Forest
Sunderland
United
WBA
Newcastle
Spurs
Darlington
QPR
Aston Villa

Any more interested players have until tomorrow to PM me or post in the thread or SM.

Myself, and the co-host RS, will then sort out proceedings.

Me and MJJ both bid(undisclosed) exactly the same amount for a player. 51k.

 Isn't that pretty much the highest you could bid on a 10k player anyway? I've bid the same as someone else twice and won both times

In other news, Markovic has had a +3 from 83 to 86. Now if only the risers I actually want to sell go up I would be very happy (and I imagine TR would be as well). So far the majority of those who've gone up I want to keep for a while and see how they do.

Yep, thats the max one can pay. I didnt actually see that when I was bidding, just went back and checked. That explains it then.

Here are the current free teams (updated with current financial info):

Lost 1-0, it is only bad as everyone below me won. 2 points from safety now. Caught out again for being tactically shite in this game. feckin game has my head wrecked.

Yessss.. Beat Sunderland 1-0 after having a player sent off in the 22nd minute. fantastic result.

Just a fecking shame the 2 teams above me won too. :(

Top 4 in division 1 now:

1. Chelsea - 37 pts (24 GD)
2. Manchester United - 36 pts (20 GD)
3. Manchester City - 35 pts (9 GD)
4. Arsenal - 34 pts (18 GD)

So close!

Middlesbrough next. They're 5th on 33 points. Going to be a much tougher game than the last time we played each other.

:D I'll be sending a bottle of wine to the Leeds manager. Great result.

haha, i know. I was so confident about just needing to win my game to get out of the relegation zone. but chelsea fecked it up.

Ned still the manager or is it someone else?

Heh, i'm not so sure. I'm still using essentially the same tactics as when i played you then!

I managed a good 0-2 win though tonight to get me back on track. Gomis picked up a yellow though and he's got a suspension now, just what i needed for going up against United.

And my tactics have changed so will be interesting to see what happens ;)

That's good :) and Badstuber's just come back from suspension, though I may bench him and play Sandro instead.

Chelsea's next three league fixtures:
Arsenal (H)
Manchester United (A)
Manchester City (A)

Very tough run for him.

Mine are pretty difficult as well:
Middlesbrough (A)
Chelsea (H)
Everton (H)

Fortunately two are at home.

Manchester City's fixtures:
Swansea City (A)
Fulham (H)
Chelsea (H)

First two fixtures are very nice, and the toughest is at home.

Arsenal's fixtures (their schedule is very similar to mine):
Chelsea (A)
Swansea City (H)
Middlesbrough (H)

I'll be surprised if Chelsea are still top after those three games. They really needed that win against Leeds.

Cup so far:

Everton
Nottingham Forest
Sunderland
United
WBA
Newcastle
Spurs
Darlington
QPR
Aston Villa
Plymouth Argyle
Bolton

Any further interested?

So I still can't take over the team. Anybody know what's happening?

Just got the team. Damo is the SM's version of Harry Redknapp. 64 players on loan, wtf?

I need rises myself, going to go from 70mil of cash to a negative balance soon if the players i've bought expecting rises dont do so.

Worst thing is that with 100+ players on loan just from the 2 manchester clubs, I cant loan out anyone.

Bristol City, Moutinho is transfer listed, so like maybe when you reject a bid you say why? Tried P/E rejected, tried cash rejected.

65 on loan now.

Last call for bids for Marc Valiente. Anything over £3.244M will be accepted. If there aren't any bids by 2.24PM, I'll accept the one on the table.
