Does anyone know why chariman won't let me loan-list any of these players?

Code:
OLIVEIRA, Nélson - CF 20yo 85
CASTAIGNOS, Luc - CF 19yo 85
GUIDETTI, John - CF 20yo 85

I could do with sending one at least out on loan next season but my chairman is being a cock and not letting me list them. What's the big deal?

Lack of quality numbers up top. I've got a similar problem with Muriel.

In terms of strikers you've got

Ronaldo - 98
Aguero - 94
Dost - 88

Then those 3 with the same rating. If you make another signing for a striker with a higher rating than those 3 I think your chairman will let you loan them out.

So it's the fact that they're all the same rating you think then? That effectively they're all being considered as my fourth choice striker?

That's stupid :(

I had the same problem with Varane last year, signed him from Madrid with Barca and it wouldn't let me loan him as I was light in defence.

Given you always play Ronaldo on the wing, you really could use another high 80's striker for your cup side.

I've got Dost as backup and only play with one up top; between Ronaldo, Aguero and Dost the position is pretty well covered, of course I've then got the three listed above as reserves in case of emergency, but I don't need all three of the cnuts!

Hasnt he moved away from Inter 'cause he was shit?

Nah he just never played for them, only got six games last season after they bought him from Feyenoord. He's gone to Twente now where he'll be their main striker; he's only 19 and highly rated, he just needed games and Inter couldn't give them to him - he was banging 'em in for Feyenoord aged 17/18, 15 goals in 37 apps from 2009-11, not bad for a kid.

It's all part of Omar's masterplan. Run Blackpool into the ground in search of success. Except without the success. Omar < Harry Redknapp.

Blackpool's asked for Chicharito on loan. A 90-rated player making ~45K, to replace Kagawa who wanted 45K. :wenger:

Added to the two players he's brought in on around 60K it seems he doesn't care that he keeps losing money even though just a few days ago he was asking us for help. He didn't like what he heard and now he's trying to "solve" his problems by trying to chase promotion again. I wish him all the best in that but it will be a heck of a lot tougher than it was last season.

Ipswich Town
Middlesbrough
Derby County
West Ham United
Nottingham Forest
Leicester City
Reading
Queens Park Rangers
Wigan Athletic
Norwich City

Just a few of the sides off the top of my head with squads capable of going for promotion in division 2.

You're taking the piss aren't you, Wolves? £300k for Mattia Valoti? Between him and Verratti you're looking at the future Italian center midfield!

*Once they have returned to the club.

If you are interested then please place a loan bid so I can see who's after them. Decisions will be announced in the thread on Tuesday.

Bump. All loans are subject to a re-call but 24 hours notice before a game will be given.

I'll decide on where players are going when I get in from work.

I'd like either Martinez or Caulker. Like I said, they won't be first choice but will play a good deal of cup games and will be first choice if I get an injury or two. You can recall them any time you want, even without notice.

Also, it's a bit too early for loans. You should wait until everyone's season ticket money comes in and the transfers are sorted.

:p

Thoughts on my squad, Damo? Will have a hard time trying to improve, as it's small enough as it is.

You should be able to get better loan players for next season which will go a long way to helping you out.

I've no idea how well off you are financially or how much you earn/lose from home and away games currently but that'll be a factor in you deciding how to strengthen your squad.

In your shoes I'd sell Steed Malbranque then try and bring in a younger, better rated player to play there - ideally in line with the rest of your first team so around 87 or 88 if possible. Then I'd part exchange Kroldrup and some cash for a younger 87/88 rated player and sell Kebe for cash when his transfer ban expires.

Looking at your squad you've got a decent first XI to build on. Some of the players are a bit too old but don't worry about that for now unless you feel that any of your players are going to go down in rating when their leagues are next reviewed, in which case part exchange for an equivalent player or better/younger who won't go down and when Issa N'Doye's transfer ban expires, exchanging both him and Marco Storari for a younger goalkeeper with an equivalent or better rating who'll either stay the same or preferably will go up in rating would be a good idea.

Like you say your squad is small, and looking at it there's not much depth in places. You've got a lot of versatile players but they're mainly first choice. In terms of loan players try and get one defender, one midfielder and one forward all of which can preferably play in more than one position.

So Damien's now giving out guides? Do my team!

Cheers for that. I've got a balance of 5.1m, and I've already made a couple of offers for external players and a couple of free agents, just for depth if anything.

No chance. You've bid on a player I wanted to go for :(

I don't think there's much you do need to improve upon. Don't know what you've bid on that player but if you bring him in it'll strengthen you and he's got a good future ahead of him in real life.

All you really need to do is add a player or two, get a few good loan deals and you're sorted. Sorry that isn't that helpful but you do have a nice team :p

Yeah, I was only joking. Didnt actually expect you to do a guide for me. Hopefully I can get this player in, and with one or two more signings and a loan deal or two, I should be looking good for the new season. When does that start?

We understand that Darlington have agreed terms with Bilbao & Bremen for their respective players.

Personal terms have been agreed upon with Ibai Gomez, however medical examination is pending.

Rumours are that Harry Dunn have been monitoring his progress ever since his exploits against Schalke in Europa League.
Having lost out on Ryo Miyaichi, Manager BenTrion decided it was crucial to tie this transfer up.

Twitter user @DAQuakers posted the below pic today, where Gomez is accompanied with Colin Galloway.

Having already occupied players like Carl Jenkinson, Djibril Sidibe, Alberto Masi and Samuel Rosa; Darlington fans are highly excited about their prospect in Division 4.

Shaktar have offered 13.6M for Douglas Costa...interested parties have til the end of the day to at least inform me of interest.
