Yep. As you said the second transfer window was key. I don't think my comments at the time of my half time report were too outlandish (though bear in mind I had to make a comment on around 50 teams at short notice) but since then a lot has changed - most notably some teams changing managers and squads strengthening which makes things a lot tougher.
Look at my comments on Manchester City and West Brom for instance. At the time City were cruising and West Brom looked like competing for the SMFA Shield places. Now City are on the verge of going out of the top 4 while West Brom have a decent chance of lifting the title.
Bolded point 1: Now they're fourth, four points behind first and two points ahead of fifth.
Bolded point 2: Lost in the Shield final but have a decent chance of winning the Champions Cup.
Bolded point 3: Their away record went from W: 8 D: 0 L: 2 to W: 10 D: 1 L: 7.
At the time my comments were fair given that for most of the first half of the season West Brom were either below the SMFA Shield places or just in them. Below is the screenshot of the table at the halfway point:
And what it looks like now:
I don't think enough can be said about how well robocop has done with his side.
Since the halfway point Manchester City have picked up 16 points out of 45 while West Brom have picked up 33 points out of 45.
