Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I amn't one to bitch and moan, but that's just sneaky Cider!

Would anyone mind my brother joining a division 5 team? He's not on the caf...

I wont make any deals with him to avoid suspicion.

Look out for Pompey's secret weapon in my attempt to stave off relegation.

My brother will be managing Kidderminster Harriers in division 5.

Tough game away against Everton tomorrow whilst City see Newcastle coming to visit. I can see a win for Cider (finally) so just need to keep up the pressure. The moment he loses and I win I go top of the table with my superior goal difference.

Dream on, faggot.

FAO WBA

Thanks for the Ramalho loan however now I'm out of one of the cups he's not getting any game time so don't feel right about keeping him in the squad.

No way that City won't beat Newcastle at home. United, Chelsea and West Brom all face tough away games, whilst Blackburn (5th) play Tottenham (6th) at home.

I can see a gap opening up between 2nd and 3rd, or 3rd and 4th.

Unless the mighty West Brom can keep pulling off miracles.

You cant. Swansea will destroy you, and I'm bringing in two new players for this game aswell so expect a few changes in both formation and gamestyle. Or dont. Your choice.

Swansea (Burrow) have won 5/12 home league games, whereas West Brom have won 3/11 of their aways.

In terms of my away record, I would be as low as 13th going by that alone. I think it's fair to say I'm living on my home form.

I don't follow div one, had no idea you were doing so well! Then I looked at your squad... Only 7 of your first team squad rated under 90!

You've been busy Robo...

You have me to thank for that ;)

FAO Ciderman. I have put forward a load bid for 2 of your bit-part players. These players would allow me to keep my first XI fresh for games against Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham and Blackburn which I have before the season end. As I do not play you again before the season closure it would be in both our interests for you to loan out these players.

I also have Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal to play.

Blackpool (omardalvi) is trying to hijack that loan-bid Cider. They do not play anyone of interest, unless you are interested in Blackpool vs Barnsley which, as even the people of Blackpool and Barnsley would rather spent the day getting drunk and urinating on themselves, I take it you are not.

I have Leeds tomorrow, at their kip of a stadium too. Do I go for the point, or risk taking a loss by going for the jugular.

All transfers but one done at the start of the season which was when I downgraded Abidal to Clichy. Got lucky with Giroud paying for him at an 88 price (I think). Stuck a punt on Maggio getting an increase too as he is a Napoli player. Disappointed Javi Garcia didn't get a bigger increase considering United's interest in him.

Overall I have had my first team players go up 18 points but down 7 so overall they've gone up 11 points.

I have 12 players rated 90 or above but none above 92. Manchester City have just 9 players rated 90 or above but 7 of them are 93 or above with Ronaldo being rated 98. Manchester United have 13 players rated 90 or above with 9 of them being rated 93 or above, the highest being Messi at 99. Chelsea have 14 players rated 90 or above with 8 players rated above 93 the highest being Iniesta rated 97. Tottenham have 9 players 90 or above including Rooney at 95 and Muller at 93, Blackburn also have just 9 players 90 or above and no players above 92.5

In short, I can see how I've suddenly started doing so well, I have good strength in depth and being only involved in one competition has kept my players fresher than those around me. As other teams get knocked out of the other competitions I think I will fall back down the league however :(

It's funny because I did the majority of my transfers not understanding the game. I thought it was more similar to Football Manager, I didn't realise how they did in real life would affect the player ratings at all. Most of my transfers were therefore of under-priced old players likely to fall rapidly in the long-term. Once I understood the game, the last signings I did should save me from being relegated once the over-rated ones come down.

However looking back I couldn't have played it better. Got lots of 90 players before the game-world ran out of them. Suck on that!

Happy accidents :)

Snakey City. Typical Cider.
