It gets on my nerves when you have all the big clubs, who have amazing players already and high valued players to swap and trade, trying to take all the promising youth players aswel as the big names.
Don't see the point in playing, especially when they are underhanded like that.

Annoying when you genuinely have researched the actual player, have waited and kept him off your shortlist so no one knows you are interested then right before your bid is accepted a big club (that has no need for the player) comes in and trumps you before you can counter it.

That is the point, I have looked harder. No one had even clicked onto this player - I had kept him off my shortlist on purpose to ensure no one would sneak in.
Ned doesn't even have a clue who it is other than the fact I have bid on him and then he has probably googled the lad.
I was talking to TR last night and he mentioned the player in question (if it is the one I'm thinking of) to me. He said he had bid earlier in the day and the player wasn't that well known and an unearthed gem as you have said. There was no other interest and from the looks of it Chelsea are going to get the player. I don't blame TR for being angry but whatever happens I hope he doesn't quit his team. He's put together a great squad full of young, talented players with plenty of potential for growth in the future.
