Nah I'm doing pretty well with them all things considered but it wasn't my squad and I didn't buy nearly all of the players. At least at a new club higher up the divisions I have the ability to move players and be active in the transfer market.

Because every other game we start on here ends up dying a slow death.
Since it rotates around football, and involves real time stats and looking at players and all that, it is good fun. It does have that FM feel to it. If I put as much effort into this as college, I'd be a Doctor by now....

I'm probably going to finish once the seasons done. The actual engine behind the game is pretty clumsy imo and the transfer engine is laughable. It's still a good laugh, but I can't see that i'll bother to continue playing a game which I think is bjorked long term.

Well considering Game Development is my job, i'd say exactly the same thing win or lose. Evaluation is a pretty big part of the job!
Regarding Villa player transfers
Guys, as has been circulated already, i am willing to step aside in order to let someone more interested taking up the team. The only reason i havent resigned already is that the squad in place is a good one and with the AI in charge, it'd be torn apart.
So, in short, am not going to accept any transfer bids as i'd like the new manager that comes in to have a good squad and cash available to build the squad the way he wants.

I was going to (had him on shortlist) but wasn't enough time for me to do it in as the necessary transfer bans expired on the 26-27th. There's another player on the market I'll miss out on for the same reason.
With my targets I don't think I'll be able to bring in an 86/87 rating LB over the next few days so if any club has one available for loan (unlikely) it would be appreciated as I'm a bit stuck in that area.
