Gaming The SM RedCafe League

A few games between teams at the top today:

Division 1: Tottenham Hotspur (3rd) - Everton (4th)
Division 2: Leeds United (1st) - Middlesbrough (3rd)
Division 5: Accrington Stanley (5th) - Crawley Town (3rd)

Annoyingly, none of the outfield players who played against Hull are on 100% fitness. I knew I should have subbed some.

Taken a risk with my tactics tonight. Hopefully it pays off.

Got hull tonight. Would be gutted if i didn't win. But with the way things have gone the whole day ,wouldn't be surprised if i dropped points.

The game should let us all win tonight after the day we've been through.

Why gutted? Arent they ahead of you in the league?

Well, they are behind me i guess. Plus their manager had not logged on for 5 odd days, and logged on just day before i guess. They also have many of their top players not fit or under 70% fitness. Dropping points there willl be like a chance missed for me. IT should be easy taking points considering their fitness.

Huge game tonight. AN was at the United game apparently so God knows what emotions he has been through today. Still, I'm hoping for a win and the team I've put out can get a positive result.

My players look in good condition for tonights game.

Barnsley on the other hand have a few players lacking fitness. Hopefully I can improve my Away Form, currently the last five away games are: LWDDL

Suppose.

Now I have what you call a must win. Home to Brighton, although all his players are on 85% or more fitness.

My team is on the left...

I know the stats are random but it doesn't make me feel any better. 14 shots on target and 0 goals...

Millwall drew so Middlesbrough go up to 2nd. I suppose, the other results considering it isn't the end of the world. Conceding 3 goals at home and not scoring any is agony though.

Won 3 - 0 against Southampton, Reading also won keeping the gap at 3 points for top spot which I currently occupy.

However Preston drew meaning the more important matter of automatic promotion is looking good with an 11 point gap between me and 3rd.

Completely forgot I had a game! Luckily won 3-1 against Ipswich, got them again in the Cup on Tuesday hoping for a repeat! Although it looks like 2 goal Van Nistlerooy will be out injured.

Yes! 2-0 win with the teams above not doing amazingly. This league is so bunched its unreal! Looking forward to seeing the updated table.

Oh, and  @ Omar

What was with the formation Damien? Getting a bit too confident?

No, 3-5-2 is supposed to work well. I don't think it was the formation that was the problem but the tactics I used with it, along with the tactics Middlesbrough used.

Ah yeah but in a big game, why not just stick to the tried and tested?

While no one is claiming fulham, I'm making them play some attacking footie. Just beat liverpool at anfield :D 2-1

MEssed up a fourth spot chance. This game is so random. Hull were so weak, and i lost with almost same tactics :( FML

I'm coming for ya Damien! :D

:nervous:

The last few games I've been mixing things up a bit to good effect - even the win over Millwall I tried something new. If I stuck to what I did use at the start of the season I don't think the result would have been any different. If I were to make any changes then I probably would have gone with the formation I used against Bristol in the friendly yesterday, but I still would have lost with the tactics.

Big game away to Brighton next. They're 16th in the table but form doesn't mean anything. I need to win it.

In other news, Derby have the best defensive record in Division 2:cool:

Won 3-0.

Still 3 points clear of Bradford who are scoring goals for fun at the moment; 7-0 away win tonight.

Really disappointing 0-0 away to Pompey. 67% posession. feck you.
