5-1 loss to United. But the stats were even.
How. Bloody tactics.

Nah, you're alright. I can make it out easily anyway.
I wonder how many of you guys use the cheat tactics.
Cheat tactics?
Cheat tactics don't work. I just kept on losing using them. Now that i'm using my own tactics, i have found out how good a manager i am.
Why do you even wanna know? Just because they work for Cider doesn't mean they'll work for the rest of you.
Ah so Ciders cheating, go figure
I'm rather looking forward to Sundays games I have to say. Very interested to see what my lads can do up against Damo's Leeds.
Ultimately, I'm not expecting to come out with a win though, my away form is extremely patchy and he obviously has a strong side. I see this as more of a test for my Middlesbrough side more then anything, as his Leeds are the clear favourites in this one... and I imagine he'll be expecting his side to win it.
No mind games. Millwall are the in form side playing at home (unbeaten), whereas our away record is pretty poor.
Not really... I'll still only be 3 points behind Millwall...
With worse goal difference. Goal difference could be very important.
And of course you could slip into fourth as Ipswich overtakes you, and just be 1 point ahead of 5th.
You could end up going on a Hullesque/Forestesque slump, and by the time you recover from that it could be too late.
One good thing about the 'Boro this year is the ability to bounce back from defeat. A loss at Leeds will be followed by a home win, of that I guarentee.
In the Premier League with 16 games gone, Liverpool were on 29 points like you are now. They had scored 20 goals and conceded 13, not too far off your own stats. In the 21 games after that, they had a horrendous record, winning 6, drawing 5 and losing 10, picking up just 23 points. That could easily happen to you if you lose on Sunday. Your players would become restless, and Ricky van Wolfsvinkel would then announce his desire to join the revolution at Leeds. Think about that.
Think you're overplaying it a bit, Damo... I'm not in good form and no game as of yet is a must win for anyone.

I hate losing on this game.
The same can't be said for your lot though. A 2nd home loss in a row will surely affect the mood around Elland Road... and it will also mean your players will be looking over their shoulders at the chasing pack with greater intrest, possibly making them nervous/lose focus in their upcoming games...
As an aside, the big Wolfmeister probably won't be starting on Sunday. Rotation is the key to everything at the 'Boro.
I'm totally apathetic about losing on this game. My attitude is :
Lose a game: Ah well, it's a stupid game anyway... all these results are totally random so it's all meaningless.
Win a game: GET THE feck IN! I am the greatest manager in the world... I should be doing this in real-life...
