Sancho had 34 and 29 assists in the seasons before he downgraded. Pedri's tried but he can't match up to that (17 last season), and can only play him there as his position has been changed to be AM(LC) instead of AM(LCR)

34 assists is insane though. Welcome to the real world!

This weekend:
  • 2 goals and an assist for Jude Bellingham
  • 2 assists for Nico Williams
  • 1 goal and an assist for Jeremie Frimpong
  • 1 goal for Kylian Mbappe off the bench
  • 1 goal for Pedri
  • 1 goal for Christian Pulisic
  • 1 assist for Carlos Borges
Pretty happy.

Announce KDB!
Farewell Adrien Rabiot who leaves the club for a second time under my stewardship.
We here at Newcastle have been big admirers of Kevin for some time and are glad to be able to bring his vast experience and quality to a side pushing for silverware. We believe he can hit the ground running and have an instant impact!
Heading the other way along with Adrien is Albert Sambi-Lokonga who just sadly is not developing as quickly as we would have hoped. That paired with many talented players in the squad ahead of him meant that opportunities were unlikely to come around any time soon.

He could have got a much better deal had he been willing to wait more than 3hrs for bids.

Congrats though, your team looks excellent.

Same could've been said for Benz, but it's a fair deal that works for both. He gets cash a first team player and a prospect and I get a solid player who'll hopefully help us with a couple goals

Thanks though, the last review was like a PED for us

Benzema is a heavily depreciating asset.

KDB is just depreciating

Played all the teams above me this season and the record is abysmal
  1. Newcastle United - lost 2:0 (A), 6 shots on target to their 3
  2. Nottingham Forest - lost 2:1 (H), 6 shots on target to their 3
  3. Southend United - lost 2:1 (A), 6 shots on target to their 4
  4. Norwich City - lost 2:1 (H), 4 shots on target to their 3
  5. Hereford - lost 2:1 (H), 6 shots on target to their 5
  6. Everton - drew 1:1 (A), 3 shots on target to their 6... a result that I got away with for a change
  7. Cardiff City - lost 1:0 (A), 4 shots on target to their 3
  8. Aston Villa - drew 1:1 (H), EIGHT shots on target to their 2... pissed me off the most
  9. Liverpool - drew 2:2 (A), 6 shots on target to their 3
3 points from 27 available. If I've got any hope of finishing in the top 8 I need to do much better in the second half of the season. Face Southend United and Everton back to back - I've lost the last three fixtures against Southend United and have a more positive record against Everton but they were pretty much managerless when I faced them last season so wouldn't read too much into it.

From the refreshing mildly optimistic football thread in the General said:
Just did some maths. We’ve conceded from 40% of the shots on target faced this season (before that Mitoma chance).

SM United have fallen off a cliff face. Think it’s complacency from the manager. The fans have started chanting something at Old Trafford. It’s a small portion but audible enough to be made out amongst the cries of anguish. Those with little hope left call out
“BENITO BENITO”

Only thing missing is news article with click-bait title.

 I so hate that you got Benzema. For my last match against Middlesbrough, Mbappe was low on fitness (by my standards) so I resorted to playing Bellingham out of position... didn't go well.

No sorry was just checking on the squads to see how everyone is doing and hit apply by accident :D I do miss my united boys though. That Messi for Greenwood deal does not look so good in hindsight...

My 2nd team is performing better than the first in the league and got to the QF in the cup which the first team promptly lost the first time they played in the cups. Twats
