Soon the last of @Zarlak's United signings will be gone. I doubt any player in the SM Caf League will be as successful as he is:
  • 45 trophies
  • 9 league titles
  • 11 Champions Cup titles
  • 2 SMFA Shields
  • 4 league cups
  • 4 league shields
  • 8 Super Cups
  • 7 Charity Shields
Has the same number of trophies as Everton, City and Arsenal combined and 815 league appearances so far.

Div 2 run-in based on current teams in promotion spots.

Sunderland look to have the best run-in with Bournemouth close behind. Whether it is enough to capture an automatic promotion spot though. Next is Gillingham with a nice game against Millwall on the last game of the season then Kidderminster and Southampton. Blackburn can do everyone a favour by beating both the top two in Kidderminster and Southampton which makes their run-in tough.

A crazy set of results for the standings. Both Sunderland and Gillingham leapfrog Kidderminster AND Southampton. A win for Blackburn still in fifth puts them only three points off 1st but a lower goal difference. This is really anyone's title let alone the top two automatic promotion spots.

Key games for Sunday;
Southampton entertain Gillingham for a crunch game between 2nd and 4th alongside Kidderminster at home to Blackburn, 3rd Vs 5th respectively. Sunderland and Bournemouth look to have 3 points nailed on with 19th and 20th teams. It could be all change again....or not. Watch this space

Another fantastic set of games.

Sunderland 4 - 0 Huddersfield
Gillingham 2 - 1 Southampton
Blackburn 1 - 2 Kidderminster
Bournemouth 4 - 1 Millwall

Gillingham and Kidderminster win out on the other promotion candidates meaning there is no change in the positions this week.

A slight gap now opening up between 3rd and 4th now with valiant Southampton losing a close game at Gillingham.

The next set of games only have one game that sees two of the top six play each other, with Sunderland in 1st hosting Bournemouth in 6th. This could mean a change at the top with Gillingham playing 16th placed Sheffield United, or Bournemouth dropping to 7th if Tottenham win away at 19th place Huddersfield and Bournemouth lose.

The rest of the teams see matches against 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th placed teams.

Good luck all, (come on Bournemouth :D)

Heck of a title race that

Mbappe was low on fitness so rested him against Chelsea to save him for Everton, and started Frimpong purely on the expectation that he'll be going up to 90 before Friday so needs more minutes. If he doesn't rise there will be hell to pay. Drew 1:1 v Chelsea.

Huge congrats to Varun on getting Aston Villa to be the ninth club to win the league title and the second manager to win the title with two different clubs after MG who won it with Darlington and Everton.

Thanks @Damien ! Chuffed to bits with the win. Cups were one thing but hadn't thought I'd win the league so soon after taking over.

Who'd have thought dumping Pogba before he went to utter shit would lead to Son . 47 G+A this season outshining Kane and pretty much instrumental to the title.

The 3 managers, 5 clubs stat is pretty fantastic.

You and Southend are having a ridiculous def season. 35 games and averaging less than 2.5 SoT
Yeah, just a shame I've always conceded a good portion of the few SoT against I get. Could potentially be setting records if it was more like Cardiff/Wolves.

OXb2u42.png

Everton, Cardiff and Middlesbrough in my last three games. I'll be lucky if I can keep my goals conceded under 30. My guess is 32.

If you win your last three games you'll break the top 10 for most points in a season as well as most victories in a league season.

Can you please post the current top 10 for points, wins and goals scored. I've always leaked goals but scored plenty so that can be a top 10 list worth targeting.

Goals scored is near impossible to break into so didn't mention that originally. Hell, the season I had 31 wins doesn't even make it (90 goals)

Cheers! Yeah, goal scored is too far out. Will go for the other 2.

Actually, Arse S3 is 8th in goals scored but no idea if I was manager already then. S4 would definitely be me.

Nah, you took over when there were 1/2 fixtures left in S3 so can't really get the credit.

2:1 victory against Everton on Thursday. Play Cardiff tonight who always seem to get the best of me. I wonder if Southgate plays SM and started Trent in midfield to make it more likely he keeps that position
