These suspensions have really messed me up. Lost 3:0 to Arsenal with Griezmann, Pogba and Mbappe unavailable to play, plus Kovacic got sent off in the first half so he'll be missing the cup final.

@2mufc0 I think I've highlighted all of the managers who have managed to win 3+ trophies in two consecutive seasons.

LK9XBpw.png

Most trophies won by a manager in two consecutive seasons:
  1. 6 trophies by Damien M in S8-9 (S8: Division 1, League Cup, SMFA Shield; S9: Charity Shield, League Shield, Super Cup)
  2. 5 trophies by Phil K in S6-7 (S6: Division 1, SMFA Shield; S7: Charity Shield, Champions Cup, Super Cup)
  3. 5 trophies by Damien M in S10-11 (S10: Champions Cup; S11: Division 1, League Cup, Champions Cup, Super Cup)
  4. 5 trophies by Damien M in S11-12 (S11: Division 1, League Cup, Champions Cup, Super Cup; S12: Charity Shield)
  5. 4 trophies by Phil K in S7-8 (S7: Charity Shield, Champions Cup, Super Cup; S8: Super Cup)
  6. 4 trophies by Damien M in S9-10 (S9: Charity Shield, League Shield, Super Cup; S10: Champions Cup)
  7. 4 trophies by Damien M in S13-14 (S13: League Cup, Champions Cup; S14: Division 1, Super Cup)
  8. 4 trophies by J B7 in S13-14 (S13: Division 1, Charity Shield; S14: Charity Shield, League Shield)
  9. 4 trophies by Damien M in S14-15 (S14: Division 1, Super Cup; S15: Charity Shield, Champions Cup)
  10. 4 trophies by Damien M in S15-16 (S15: Charity Shield, Champions Cup; S16: Champions Cup, Super Cup)
  11. 3 trophies by Biggus Andius in S3-4 (S3: Division 1; S4: Charity Shield, Champions Cup)
  12. 3 trophies by Damien M in S4-5 (S4: Division 1, League Shield; S5: Charity Shield)
  13. 3 trophies by Ben Trion in S11-12 (S11: League Shield; S12: League Cup, League Shield)
  14. 3 trophies by Damien M in S12-13 (S12: Charity Shield; S13: League Cup, Champions Cup)
  15. 3 trophies by J B7 in S12-13 (S12: Division 1; S13: Division 1, Charity Shield)
  16. 3 trophies by Damien M in S16-17 (S16: Champions Cup, Super Cup; S17: Super Cup)
  17. 3 trophies by The Stain in S16-17 (S16: Division 1; S17: Charity Shield, Champions Cup)
I think I've got everything there.

M Goodman is currently on 3 (S17: Division 1; S18: Charity Shield, League Cup) but is still in Division 1, League Shield and Champions Cup so could easily get 5-6. Hope he doesn't win the Champions Cup though as I don't want my 10-season run of winning a trophy to end.

Run of four domestic defeats ends with a heroic 2:2 draw against Bournemouth. With Spurs, Newcastle, Liverpool, Forest and Chelsea as my next five fixtures there is no way I'm finishing in the top four (I'm already 4 points behind as it is to a team with +1 goal difference).

As for the U21 Championship, squads aren't announced yet but here are the players who have played in qualifying

Austria
  • Dario Maresic

I think it is nuts that I have Ibrahima Konate and Malang Sarr and neither are in the squads for the U20s and probably not going to be for the U21s either.

Excellent! Gonna be a bit of a pain for RB Leipzig's preparations for the new season with Upamecano and Konate on international duty/resting. Mukiele is among the reserves too.

Do fecking.... DENMARK! Reeeeeeeee
That can wait a few months. I really hope they do the Bundesliga next as it looks like players from promoted Bundesliga 2 side (Paderborn) and Championship side (Norwich) have been edited today which is usually a sign they're not far off the big five.

Narrow 1:0 victory away to Spurs. Boateng misses the next few matches due to injury while Mbappe is suspended so I expect Newcastle will win 5:0.

Yeah, I really have no idea why you sold Alisson.

Well, you do have Donnarumma, but his rating was always going to be around 90/91 at AC Milan. He needs a move.

Sold him before he transferred to Liverpool

Ah. That's unfortunate. I was raving about him pre season and got a lot of stick from United fans. Quality keeper.

This season has been pretty shit for most of my young players, N'Dombele is the only one who's had a great season. Got a feeling next season will be when the majority of my young players step up. There seems to be a lot of media noise about the majority of them, just need them to please, please stay relatively injury free. Can't handle another season of disappointment as my top draw players get long injuries. :(
