Gaming The SM RedCafe League

I somehow managed a 0-0 draw despite having an 83 in defense. Had a goal ruled offside and hit the post as well. Damn it.

First day blues.

Ive got a new formation at the ready to face Damo.

Gonna twat ' em .

6-2 against Monaco, the Traore's having bit of fun!

As for Suarez, really starting to hit form over the last 2 seasons.... bit worried that i may depend on him scoring 20+ a bit too much...

Fair enough.

Here's a comparison of the highest rated strikers (just compared those who've played purely as a striker for at least most of their time at their club).

taZG0Hb.png

Caveats: In season 6, Ronaldo played on the wing for me and I think Suarez probably played out wide for his club at the start of his career as well.

Zlatan's goal record in seasons 4-8 is insane. I honestly think if Varun kept him for a few seasons more instead of exchanging for Cavani, that he'd have won the title.
Ibra was absolutely God like for me, best attacker in the game. Unfortunately, I underestimated his fitness so I was always afraid he'd fall off the cliff and didn't want to risk it. His assists stat was crazy too, always hit the 15 odd mark to go with all the goals. That said, my team was crazily dependant on him, it was either him or no one with the likes of Rooney barely getting 10 goals even though he was 94+ rated at the time. I've always leaked goals like crazy as well which has been my biggest problem.

FML. Iago Aspas scored a hat-trick against me (no wonder De Gea got a rating of 4). Won 4-3 though but Ramos misses the next two weeks through injury while Silva has a 50/50 chance of being back for Everton.

Excellent. Sheffield United loaned my left backs and Shaw assisted one goal (from LB), with Dalbert scoring the other (from LM) in their 2:1 win against Herrera today.

Darlington's front six today

The position thing really makes no sense at times. When have Lemar and Mkhitaryan played CM for their clubs in real life?

Had I stayed at Div 2, I will make a loss of about 1m per week, or 20m per season

In Div 1, it is only about 400k loss per week, or 8m per season

2nd in Div 2 gets prize money or about 12m, while bottom at Div 1 gets basically nothing

So, as far as finance is concerned, not much difference between these two

Standard 2-0 win with the 4-3-3 formation that has always worked so well for me. Icardi back from injury for next game though so another messy draw/loss coming up as I try to fit both him and Kane in

Your players get to mingle with the big boys, it's a lifetime experience.

Then dont try and fit them in, go for the win and alternate between them

They're too high rated to be rotated I think, concerns will set in. I did my summer business with the setup in mind anyways. Let's see, I'll try it for a few games and then probably set it to switch to a 4-3-3 every game at HT if it doesn't work.
