This is a fair point. If people have actually calculated on this, they shouldn't be punished by getting a random sheep from a completely different match/round. But then again, no specific rule has been stated.
See, this is where my old point comes in, Skizzo, old lad: You need to be a bloody lawyer to run these drafts without a snag. Ideally you should have posted the sheep allocating rules along with the criterion. But then again, the beauty of running the thing is that you can simply make a ruling - and then tell everybody to stop whining. Which they will. I will personally pay them a visit if they don't. I have plenty of frequent flyer points to spare - and I am more than crazy enough to use 'em.

True. The salient part being "no specific rule has been stated". So, the allocating of sheep remains up to the draft master - or rather, the evil genius he has put in charge of said allocation.

I had to come back from hols yesterday for a couple of meetings. Should have gone back by now but got too engrossed with this. Wife ain't happy, I'm telling her one of the meetings got postponed (it's not sunny anyway).
Will probably just get going now and come back later for the sheeping, it's well underway anyway.
Of all the people in the game, the last I would have predicted going for this game was Viva. Why? Why? Why?
I don't consider it a faux pas, mate. I would just say that what you suggest is precisely why the sheep allocation can't be done along those lines. It obviously can't, as it would be absurd: A sheep is a player who meets the criterion. The criterion is a player who was booked, alongside another player, in ANY match during a World Cup.
Given that the picks of the managers will be entirely random (looked upon from a sheep allocating viewpoint) AND that many managers will end up with ONE valid pick, the only rational route is to allocate sheep based on the core of the original criterion, namely: Any player booked or sent off in any World Cup match.
And from there - select suitable sheep (according to quality and which positions are already filled, etc.)

Like anto said, this was the only game he would have been picked from. So it was always going to be a very risky pick for round two.
@ctp can you delete the player names? I pray someone else hits on the same and gives us company sheepwatching.
@ctp, it does get silly like that sometimes with the naming. Don't take it personal, draft managers tend to assume their rivals have the IQ of an amoeba and the literacy of a blind bat.

I can, but there may be an overlap from this and the next criteria. Keep that in mind with MJJ still to submit his final picks here. Some of the players you want may have been picked this round and not revealed yet. If you guys want it though, I can put it up now, so you have extra time.
Put it up. All we can do is choose a couple of options and if any players are already chosen this round (post results tomorrow), we just move to next choice.
