The second Ashes Test

I doubt I will ever see a player as good as Warney again in my lifetime. He is simply a freak.

Feel sorry for Flintoff. You could just seem him in the last couple of overs thinking "What the feck do I have to do?". He tried his best but he is surrounded by rubbish. Harmison, Anderson and Giles arent international quality.

You take Warne and maybe McGrath out your bowling attack is shite old feckers cannot wait for them to retire.

'Surrounded by rubbish' this rubbish lot once beat the Aussies and Harmison is not international quality what are you on I admit hes been shit so far this sieres but he has had back problems, been out injuired for most of 2006 and is very low on confidents on his day he is one of the best bowlers in the world I have faith in him to come good soon. I do agree about Giles and Anderson though.

I also feel sorry for Freddie At the end of the day the Aussies wanted it more then we did some of the england players just did not want it Freddie tryed but the rest did not turn up. Get Monty in the team and Bring back Vaughan NOW.

England lack Bottle. Its the same with cricket, football, rugby..we dont know how to finish a job...something needs to be done about it

True. Just look at the difference in the batting approach from both teams. We like to prod around nervously for a good hour, ignoring good opportunites for runs, while the Aussies are confident and attacking and go after loose deliveries, which then puts the pressure straight back on the opposition.

Not true about Rugby Union. Johnny wilkinson had bottle. too bad he will probably never play for you lot again.

Ah well, normal service has been resumed.
I said this would end in tears.
Unfortunately this has given the Aussies a massive boost in morale, and even if we play Panesar, he's going to get carted to all parts of the ground. :(

If Australia play 2 spinner at some point it will probably be McGrath and not Clark who will be dropped so he his replacement is already sorted. Warne is much harder to replace.

I've never been to cricket on my own, but I reckon it could be good fun. Going to football alone is great - though you're much more part of the crowd.

Dining out alone is one of the great pleasures of life, and since going to cricket is basically an all-day picnic with some entertainment over in the middle-distance, it could be pretty good

You could always take a laptop, Gazza-stylee

I prefer company for all of those things since they are social in nature.

Dining out alone is a purely functional thing to me and I'd never spend much money on it.

True but who is third choise spinner of the Aussies. In another way who is the up and coming spinner that will replace Warne when he retires.

Feck knows. That is the problem.

McGrath's replacement is already in the team.

I'd be bored in 5 minutes, then I'd feel guilty at wasting the time and money.

If you enjoy it for itself, just sit back and watch the world go by, or read the paper or a book, and really taste the food, it's really enjoyable.

Loser

 Are you serious?

Wibbs, go on your own, I did and had a good day, albeit a boring days play until tea on day 4.

Aussies next spinner will be Callum Bailey or Dan Cullen, both from South Australia. Terry Jenner, who is one of Warnies mentors coaches these two and reckon Cullen spins it further than Warne did at the same age, he is not as accurate and doesn't have Warne's brain yet but that might come with time. Junior cricket is awash with Warne wannabes here because he has such an influence on the game.

Good news for England.

If I didn't have to buy a ticket for all 5 days I would be keener.

The brain is the key though

I think he actually became a better bowler in some ways, after his shouler problems meant he couldn't spin it so much. He's one canny motherfecker.

I watched the entire days play live on the telly (am I glad I bought a huge HD plasma) and even though I am torn between countries and not particularly a cricket fan it was one of the best sporting events that I have ever watched and Warne in particular was stunning.
