The second Ashes Test

If England can hang on until there are only 30 overs left they will have a shot at a draw.

Clarification on delaying tea. If England lose a wicket now, tea will be taken early and so Australia will not lose the two overs between innings. If they don't lose a wicket, tea will be delayed by half-an-hour till 4.10 (about 40 minutes' time) and then Australia will lose two overs

All over!!!

168 to get in 40 odd overs for the Oz. Aussies to win by 7 wickets.

The series is as good as over and the Ashes will have left England before the celebrations of regaining them have even died down.

They have less than 40 overs I think.

A run rate of less than 5 I think.

Australia will go for it and maybe move Gillcrest up to 3rd. If they lose 3 or 4 early wickets they will dig in for the draw.

Could be good to watch.

I've taken the wise decision to dispatch some food before the genuine nerves start to kick in, this could be close. Way Ponting and Hussy have been batting mind, we might just have taken our last wicket of this game...

It looks like heatstroke has a greater chance of stopping play than rain.

The games over, the bowling is piss. If Giles can't tie an end up, can't take a wicket, can't field and can't bat in a pressure situation, what the bloody hell is he in the team for? The most depressing thing is, you know damn well he'll be in the team ahead of Monty again in the next test.

Flintoff doesn't have the brains to be a test captain. His fields have been poor and there has hardly been pressure put on the batsman. Make wholesale changes now and use this Ashes as a learning curve for players like Monty. They are the future not Giles who is a cnut.

Very poor last day from England.

To be fair to them Australia bowled and batted very well indeed.

I'm a bot suprised that england didnlt try to get 700 in the first innings and then try to bowl the Aussies our twice.

Australia were good today but no way should England have let the draw slip away.
