The second Ashes Test

It's a seamer's track Sults...not sure it was such a bad decision in retrospect. I doubt spin's going to have a big impact in this game, and Gilo had a decent knock...

Last day Plech, last day...it's sure to deteriorate.

It's going to be touch and go. They'll probably bat for 140 or so overs, which will mean England will have to bat again. I can see England setting them a target, just before the close of the fourth day. But will one day be enough to bowl them out? Probably not. But you never know. Pressure could get to them.

It may not deteriorate significantly enough, though. Brisbane didn't. Even though it looked like it had snakes in the pitch on the 5th.

That's test cricket mate, you'll not get anything given for free, they are playing within the rules.

Playing within the absolute limit of the rules, if not going further than that. They did show the law on negative leg side bowling on the tele, and the umpires would have been well within their rights to have been calling Warne wide; an arguement they weren't applying the rules correctly.

Match situation is belting for England, taking Langers wicket late in the day priceless. The big test will be how cheaply we can get Hussy and Ponting out for, both are on ridiculously high averages for the last year. If they go cheap, the pitch gets ever worse, time is on our side; we may yet win this test.

bloody hell - just saw the scorecard!

i fancied collingwood and bell to be much improved in this series.

the openers keep getting starts, but no big scores though! sort it out.

fancy a draw in this test.

Its fun to see McGrath getting tonked around sometimes. He doesn't let that happen too often.

Mcgrath was embarrased by pietesen for a while today. And warne was bowling outside leg stump defensively aswell!

No, looking better already.

Just the morning session for me today, sunday footy to be played in the morning. This time last week mind the sessions I missed were just about the only one's in the test where England actually turned up, hoping it's not gone and reversed on me for this test...

Anderson started really well. England are bowling great just hope we don't regret the ponting drop catch

Giles is the only spinner in world cricket who doesn't actually spin the ball. It just goes straight.

Monty would be all over these and putting the pressure on.

It will take a huge disaster for one side for this to be anything other than a draw.

We can still win this yet. Hramison with a quick 5 for 10 in the morning :)
