Hmm, I didn't see them as ''seperated by body of water' per op. They are separated by Belgium.

Personally I feel like this goes a bit against the spirit of the draft (was already thinking that when harms posted that pic). Obviously not pleading for a different ruling because several picks have been made in the same way but I was already confused by the Xavi -> Scirea jump. Personally I would have liked it better to reserve these jumps across water for the actual island nations such as GB, Iceland or Malta and such. As for the current rules it would be possible to jump from Germany to Russia via Kaliningrad, to Turkey across the black sea and over to Italy if you thread the needle properly and maybe involve the turkish part of Cyprus I guess. A bit too many technicalities and ways to be overly clever but that is just my to cents. Great draft otherwise!

Countries that belong to the same continent and are separated by a water body will be considered eligible as neighbours to the nation if you can draw a straight line between the two nations with only water and no land obstructing the line. On a flat map. No cleverness here, clarify openly in case of doubts and majority decides whether it holds true. Please raise doubts before the draft starts.

Well we're pretty much into the draft so I doubt we can change that. I've calculated the Kaliningrad route as valid myself.

Ye as I said, too many picks have been made and it is nothing fundamental that really hinders a good draft. I just personally feel like it takes away a but of the road trip feel since you can circumvent a lot of the restrictions that brings with it.

Sorry by the way for spoiling the fun of revealing a possible evil ploy of the Kaliningrad jump. Other routes (without any specific interest to the draft I think, since I can't really think of great greek players) that might be possible: Greece -> Croatia should work no problem, but could you pass by Sicily to go from Crete to Spain as well? Turns out this is no problem at all and just adds a fun extra dimension to the considerations
