Stellan would sell Aleksandr for a cheap handjob and a pack of crisps.Often being mistaken for a Skarsgård son doesn't really help either.

Why yes I have and you can read my 4 star review right here: http://filmindublin.ie/truly-suffers-silence/
Please don't ban me for being so shameless.

Glad there's no cynical reviews for La La Land yet, I know they'll come. Agree too that it's an instant classic.
Surprised that there's been so much negative reaction to this - I felt the same as you. Brutal but effective, it really got to me in the cinema. The first 30 minutes was about as tense as a film can get.
Really? I think it's getting generally positive reviews over here - rightly so, it's a really well made film.I loved this film. A lot of people disagree though...
I'm looking forward to it with a bit of trepidation, Last Temptation of Christ is one of my favourite Scorsese films though.Anyone seen Scorsese's Silence yet ?
I may have overstated this film's quality after several drinks.Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping - hands down funnier than any film released in 2016. The Lonely Island guyys have a rare talent for musical comedy. This was a monstrous box office failure which is such a shame.

See above.Seriously?
It looked kinda crap in the ad
So nobody else has seen A Monster Calls yet?
Am curious to hear some more opinions, as this will let me know how emasculated I should feel for being turned into a blubbing wreck...
Saw it last night but didn't want to discuss it on here afterwards due to the fact that my reaction was very similar to yours seemingly. It's really very good and absolutely gut wrenching. 9/10
Thanks for recommending this, I would have never even known of its existence without it. It's actually a very good surprise, it packs a lot of fun moments (not really "laugh out loud" stuff, but overall very amusing) (actually there are a couple of really funny scenes), and it doesn't overstay its welcome at 1h20, so yeah I'd recommend it if you're a fan of Lonely Island type of humour. I really like Andy Samberg I have to say, bit of a underated comedian.Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping - hands down funnier than any film released in 2016. I don't know if you're been sarcastic . I'D BEEN DRINKING!Thanks for recommending this, I would have never even known of its existence without it. I saw a Theroux documentary once. He mostly asked banal questions and had none of the dry, british wit or colorful personality you'd expect from someone megalomaniac enough to put his name on everything he does. Kinda wished they had rolled in Justin Theroux instead.
No I'm being serious, I went in with no expectations, and it was a good surprise. It's a good film, but...I don't know if you're been sarcastic . I'D BEEN DRINKING!
... is definitely true Awful titlePopstar: Never Stop Never Stopping is a disastrous movie title
What did you do with the rest of her body Archie?I remember I gave a gushing review to The Great Beauty after watching it buckled with a beautiful woman's head in my lap. In hindsight old peterstorey was probably right about it been a pile of bollocks.

I just realised there was a good opportunity for a Great Beauty pun. Opportunity missed. No I'm being serious, I went in with no expectations, and it was a good surprise. It's a good film, but...

From a marketing point of view, Popstar is pretty nondescript and I have too peer to read 'Never Stop Never Stopping' every time.I haven't seen it but surely that's the point?
Pete was always right so I don't feel like rewatching that one any time soon, there's some films like Certified Copy that I've avoided because I know pete slated them.I remember I gave a gushing review to The Great Beauty after watching it buckled with a beautiful woman's head in my lap. I did think he was wrong about Barry Lyndon. Not all angels have wings.
La La Land
Finally saw this after looking forward to it for quite a while and man did I absolutely love it!! Visually stunning, great performances and amazing songs. I had goosebumps throughout. I laughed, tapped my feet, got excited, felt sad and even annoyed... Ran through so many emotions. It wasn't perfect though, Ryan Gosling singing wasn't great and the songs should have been spread out more, because the second act was missing them. However I'll put that aside because this was fantastically directed and I had a blast 9/10
I disagreed with him on a few. He had a near-universal contempt for contemporary cinema. I think the only modern films he liked were Ida and weirdly, The Hunger Games.I did think he was wrong Barry Lyndon.
I think he liked a lot of new stuff, but mostly french cinema and films by directors like Almodovar.I disagreed with him on a few. He had a near-universal contempt for contemporary cinema. I think the only modern films he liked were Ida and weirdly, The Hunger Games.
It's a plain new musical. Is La La Land a plain old musical or is it something more?
