I've seen Amelie and Delicatessen, and loved them both, especially Amelie. Hope this one's upto those standards.

The football forums are beyond repair. I seriously think Weaste was right. . .better deleting some of the posters. If you can be promoted, then surely a crap posted can be demoted? I don't know. . . I can't stand much more if it, that;s for sure.
Amelie was great. What was better though, that or My Sassy Girl(comedy romances)

On the subject of gay flirting/accusations - it's only a laugh, maybe a little silly but it is the silly season after all.
Tough call. Both were very enjoyable. My Sassy Girl had more emotion in it and is one of those movies that can be seen any number of times but as a complete movie I think Amelie was better.
The mods have considered that I think. They've already made a move towards cutting out the overly aggressive posters from the football forums.
I don't have a problem with the aggressiveness. Just the spastics. . .of which I could name a shedload. It's not like this place is desperate for numbers, either. Some sort of quality control should be in order. That said, I don't mind the odd spastic like Torn Rubber, he at least makes me chuckle.

A lot of posters are reactionary and fickle but I don't think that's going to change. When RVN was sold last year the forum was full of people talking shit about him and saying that he wasn't even good anymore. I've made the General my home ever since.

Fallen Angels was fantastic. In fact, I liked it marginally more than Chungking Express. Stunning piece of work.

Annie Hall - Thought it was good for a handful of laughs. Diane Keaton looks stunning. Woody Allen is class. Don't rate this to be his best though

Come and See - Amazing. Brilliant. Why isn't this movie mentioned when we talk about war movies? It's right up there with Apocalypse Now and FMJ. Excellent. Excellent. Excellent. 10/10
It's highly rated. Reason why people don't mention it, is because it's a foreign film. . .and most haven't seen it. I'll order it on DVD sometime in the future. . .along with Brotherhood of War.
(ordered them, been wanting to see them for ages. Amazon were selling them at a good price. Both are 2 disc sets. . . Brotherhood's 5.1 DTS and Come and See's been remastered apparently)

I watched Ran in the end. Stunning, breathtaking. . .awesome.
What a film. Best I've seen by Kurosawa so far, I know people prefer his earlier work, but that's as good as any he's done.

FMJ isn't as good as Apocalypse Now. A movie whose second half is a shadow of the first. The first half is brilliant
