Gaming The RedCafe General/Random Gaming Chat Thread

I got 4 games in the GOG sale last month, but I'm sure I'll be dying to add a few more when Steam starts tonight.

It's like being at a buffet with all your favourite foods and you giddily rush around tasting everything until you reach the point where you're stuffed, feel sick and are filled with regret.

Sounds like me at a brothel.

That Nes Mini is....really, really mini and a shame the controller wire length is pretty small, although you can make up for it with long HDMI and USB cables I guess.

Would've been perfect if you could load your own ROMs into it, like with SEGA's emulator but still, for £50 it's not too shabby.

There are extension cables but it definitely would have been better to have a longer built in one.

Anyone watching the game awards? It's a bit of a cringe fest as usual.

They're supposed to show Mass Effect Andromeda though, which is the only reason why I'm watching.

Doom just won an award for best action game I think. Love that game.

They award good games mostly, but the presentation is just painful.

that is one hell of a trailer. But the worry is he probably took the last few months to make that and not an actual game

Hope Kojima actually allows Mikkelsen to speak. He got Kiefer Sutherland for MGSV and he had about 12 lines of dialogue.

Xbox sent me extra codes for Gears 1, 3 and Judgement. Can't guarantee they will work, but anyone want them? The Xbox thread is pretty dead on here. First to PM can have them.

Yeah, they have a new one every month. Beyond Good and Evil is the only other one I've bothered to grab, though.

Anyone playing Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist on PC?

I used to love yu-gi-oh games might have to take a look at this. Any good?

Same here. Played the hell out of the GBA ones, and DotR on PS2 :)

Has over 6600 cards, and the only way to unlock them is by playing the game (no card buying like Hearthstone/Magic: Duels/Hex). It has fully featured multiplayer, countless campaigns (campaign duels can be played with the deck from the episode or with your own decks, and once beaten, you can play the other guy instead). It can be played almost entirely with the mouse, which is also awesome. It also has cloud saving, so yeah, Yu-gi-oh everywhere!

I can see myself sinking hundreds of hours into this. No complaints so far. I did have it on the PS3, but playing with a DPAD was just a nightmare... With a mouse? The game is just TCG/CCG heaven.

Yeah I think I'll look into getting this how much did it cost you?

Hmmm, I've been tapping about at some free android yu-gi-oh game recently, which is annoying as there's so much locked stuff, might pick that up instead.

Hope there's card games on motorcycles!
