FM Experiment Update 2024/2025
1. Cinadine Cidane (Real Madrid)
I said it was Real's turn this season, and it was. Cinadine won the La Liga with Madrid, playing 51 games, scoring 28 times. He scored the highest average rating of his career in the league. It was definitely his best ever season, and as a result he was named World Footballer Of The Year.

2. Cw1984 (Barcelona)
A decent season for the consistent cw. Though Barca didn't win any trophies he can be proud of how he did. He has proven to be world class in both the LB and CM positions for Barca and is still a massive player for them at 31. He scored 14 goals this season, and surely it's Barcelona's turn to have La Liga next year.

3. Diver (Inter Milan)
Diver had a poor season. He got an average rating of 7.18 from 43 apps, with only 3 goals from CM. Inter reached the Champions League Final this year, which they lost, but Diver didn't even play in it due to a hamstring injury.

4. Hassan Emirati (Juventus Transferred to Napoli)
Emirati needed to do something fast. He'd had 3 terrible seasons at Juve, and he was offered a way out by high flying Napoli. Off went Hassan to Juve's league rivals for £21.5m. He performed much, much better there with pal Jacob. Napoli won Serie A, the Super Cup, and the Italian Cup, with Emirati scoring the winner in the Italian Cup against Roma to help his new club complete a domestic treble. Good times for him.

5. Alex Hemming (AC Milan)
Wait, hang on...Hemming didn't make the team of the year? You're shitting me, let me check....Oh wow he didn't. Nope Hemming is actually gradually getting worse. His average rating in Serie A is now getting lower by the season. Milan won the Europa League again though, but finished 5th in the league, so they'll have to win the Europa again I suppose.

6. Jacob (Napoli)
Jacob won a domestic treble with the club he is now one with. Since sticking with them he's helped them become a super power in Italy. He had a decent season with an average rating of 7.39 in the league, scoring 29 times from AM which is impressive.

7. Dennis Law (R. Madrid)
Much better season for Law. He's like the new Raul for Madrid (Raul is the Madrid manager by the way). He got 44 goals in 46 games, which is frankly ridiculous. A 7.80 rating further showed how good he was this season, as Madrid won La Liga and the Super Cup.

8. Cristiano Lazytov (Juventus)
42 appearances this season for the lazy one. Rubbish rating of 7.10 though. He made the highest amount of league appearances in the league with 33 this season. That's about it, he probably spent the rest of the season sleeping.

9. Legold Legster (Real Madrid)
50 appearances, 11 assists. Same apps, 6 more assists. An improvement from Legold as he won La Liga with Real. His overall play wasn't great though, and he is starting to show signs of decline. He can't maraud up and down the left side forever you know.

10. Karan Mittal (Chelsea)
Mittal is no longer a nearly man. He had a fantastic season with Chelsea as they secured a Premiership and European Cup double. They also won the Carling Cup so I suppose you could call it a treble. Mittal scored an average rating of 7.53 in the league, the best of his career. He scored 21 goals for the club from AM, one of those coming in the 2 - 0 Champions League Final win over Inter Milan.

11. Rasmus Nilsson (Bayern Munich)
A decent season for Nilsson. He must be getting bored by now though? Another Bundesliga in the bag for Bayern. He doesn't seem to be interested by challenging himself, just doesn't mind easily winning trophies each season. He made 47 apps for Bayern this year, scoring 10 times. Looks like he's happy to finish his career there.

12. niMic (Real Madrid)
niMic had another good season. Scoring 7.35 on average and netting 15 goals from the right side of midfield as he helped Madrid to another La Liga. niMic is considering going into management when his playing days are over.

13. Alwyn Payne (Arsenal)
Payne and Searl have ruined Arsenal, they won nothing again this season. Alwyn failed to recreate his International form with his club, scoring only 7.13 in the league. He only scored 9 goals too, playing mainly in AM. not good for him, maybe he should have stayed at Juventus? He seems to be enjoying his time at the club though, maybe good football is all he wants.

14. Paz (Juventus)
42 appearances, 6 goals for Paz. Juve didn't win anything for second year running, as Napoli dominated. Paz did alright though, scoring 7.33 in the league as his club finished as Serie A runners up. He is still enjoying life at the club.

15. Psmith (FC Bayern)
Once more a great season for PSmith, he scored 30 goals in 44 appearances, with an average rating of 7.75 in the league. He won the Bundesliga with Ramus, and like him, seems content to stay there and win it again next season, and the season after...you get the idea. Oh they also won the European Super Cup, as then Champions League holders beating Europa League winners AC Milan.

16. Chris Searl (Arsenal)
7.14. That's what Searl scored for his league games overall. Not good for him, just like Alywn payne, he didn't have a good season. It seems they jumped on the Arsenal bandwagon too late. To top the misery off, Searl broke his leg towards the end of the season and is out for another 3-4 months.

17. Shorty Phelan (Juventus)
Shorty had an even worse rating in the league this year as Juve came second in Serie A. They won nothing overall and shorty was disappointing. However it wasn't all his fault, he missed 5 months of the season with a hip injury and torn calf muscle. He's been getting a lot as he's aged, which is to be expected really. Will injuries eventually be the end of him?

18. Ubor Skolskov (Juventus)
Juve's few seasons of dominance seem to be over. Skolskov, like his other team-mates, didn't have a great season, though he was better than most. He played 44 times, scoring 10 goals and setting up 7. His national Russia were chosen to host the 2032 Olympic games. Though I doubt Skolskov will still be playing in 7 years. Maybe he can manage the national team? He seems to be a tactically good player at DM, and is looking to move into management when his playing days are over.

19. Sam Stock (Inter)
Stock was made Captain of Inter Milan this season, and led them all the way to the Champions League Final. He played in it, however they lost the game 2 - 0, not helped by a sending off for an Inter player after 8 minutes. Stock had a good season though, scoring times in 48 games from RM. With an an average rating of 7.42 in the league, he placed third in the World Player Of The Year Awards.

20. Flawless Thaw (Barcelona)
Despite not winning anything, Flawless had a good year. He played 51 times as Barca's main man in midfield, setting up 11 goals and scoring 17. 13 of those were in La Liga, his best ever tally in the league. It seems he's started bombing forward a lot more as he's gotten older, which is strange. He was much wiser and disciplined when he was younger.

21. Walrus (Arsenal)
Have Arsenal had their day? No trophies again for Walrus. He playedand captained his side in the FA Cup Final that Arsenal reached though, but couldn't stop his team from losing. Sunderland beat them 2 - 1. Walrus scored only 14 goals in the Premiership this year, which is his lowest tally for 7 years.

22. Ed Weatherall (Arsenal)
As a keeper, Ed will probably play longer than the rest of the caftards, but I said nothing about playing well. Ed got a miserable 6.95 for the Premiership season and a 7.00 overall. Out of 56 games he kept 27 clean sheets, and knows he can do better. Despite a poor season, he still got into the Team Of The Year.

23. George Worst (Inter Milan)
George had a great Euros and previous season behind him, but failed to live up to his new expectations. He only bagged 10 goals in 37 appearances for Inter as they finished third in Serie A. He played in the Champions League final, but was one of Inter's worst players. Maybe next year Georgey, he got into the Team of The Year though.
