He was one of my favourite players in his Valencia days I didn't know why I just liked him a lot. He was one of the best attacking midfielders during Valncia's title winning years it's a shame injuries slowed him down and robbed him of his prime.

Good team just about getting votes but that 4-3-3 with Lampard and Drogba will work a treat.

Really? I'd hope people would see the Drogba -Lampard combo.. with Figo and Giuly also as goalscorers..

Plus BD and my team would be a beast from set pieces. Try marking Drogba, Vidic, Gilberto, Vieira Popescu and Lampard from corners. We are a big bunch!

What do you mean by "just about getting votes". I PM'd Fergusson. I hope he is online. I only picked right now as I wanted the draft to move along. Otherwise it really isn't fair to BD.

Also what are the thoughts on Giuly this late?
 
I agree, I'm not trying to put it down, Lampard is a great player but with Gilberto and Vieira in the middle I think you could have gone and got a genuine No. 10.

But then again I considered playing 3-6-1 at one point so don't listen to me.

Lampard and Drogba is a proven partnership so it made sense going for him. He's replaced Makelele and Essien by Gilberto and Vieira, again a proven partnership should provide the same platform as they got in Chelsea. Overall it looks really functional which is the biggest selling point of this team.
