I also see Carvalho as the better player. The idea was to pair them in our next 2 picks but we went for Terry first as we needed to address our lack of aerial presence first. We'd have been ragin if one of you took Carvalho and we were stuck with just Terry :lol:

Let the quality of the remaining pick options dictate it to you.

He can play anywhere upfront, in midfield, or either full back at such a high level it's a great asset to have.

Is there any better utility player than him? Gullit is perhaps the only one that I can think of right now that covers nearly as many positions without a drop in quality.

I guess the question there also is where do you plan to play Hierro. Some cracking players and world class "allfield" flexibility you have there.

I would assume he is playing nowhere in particular. If you can pick players you would start all the way to a final in any of his positions, pick them, if in one of them you are just picking someone you would definitely replace later, assume you can use Enrique there if needed.

Don't hire him as a fullback though, he is best used as a box-to-box midfielder.
 
Yeah, I truly have some good options now with both Hierro and Enrique.. we will se what happens from now.

Yep, pretty much.

He shouldn't as a result of this assume he is one to become a sub later. There isn't a better box-to-box midfielder in this game, certainly not as far as attacking contribution goes.

Because he is a 20 goal a man from midfield, can pass, score and tackle. If he wasn't a Chelsea player he would be one of my favorites.
