Rivas is like a brick wall, can’t half take a punch
Dillian is the goods man
Went 12... Thurman was clawing his way back but then Manny hurt him with a body shot in the 10th which sealed his fate.Watched first few rounds of manny picking the young fole off. How did it finish and when?
Pacquaio is incredible. What a fighter. He’s 40. I remember when he was flyweight champ and I remember being impressed with Ledwaba and just expecting to see him smoke Pacquaio in 2001 at super bantamweight. He’s STILL beating up the welterweight elites.
IMO the greatest fighter of the last 25 years.
I think those are bad fights for him and not one's I want to see him entertain. I'd prefer to see him toy with Khan and if he wants a meaningful fight, then maybe a Danny Garcia or a Mikey Garcia. Crawford would make him look very bad and Spence would likely break him down. Don't need to see that.Amazing performance by Manny, really hope he'll get in the ring with Crawford and Spence. In that order cause i think Spence might be a little too much, it'd be a great retirement fight though.

I believe both fighters are enrolled in the VADA programme. Dan Rafael has said there was random drug testing. Where has this no drug testing thing come from?I love pacman but the fact that they had no VADA testing for this fight does make you wonder whether this is legit or hes on the juice. It just seems odd that he always managed to maintain his stamina and power each time he moved up in weight.

Whether fighters are actually clean or not is another issue, but it seems VADA were on board for this fight.
RIP. Very sad to hear such a thing happening to an athlete.
He's always been a bit suspect if we are being honest but I do believe there was testing for this one just not VADA. I could be wrong but perhaps it was Nevada's own independent testing. Remember, Mayweather (also suspect as hell) never did VADA, he did USADA which is a joke in comparison.I love pacman but the fact that they had no VADA testing for this fight does make you wonder whether this is legit or hes on the juice. ME. It's a great fight. Gvozdyk's last fight was a waste of time so it's good to see him get stuck in with a champion. I also give the edge to Gvozdyk too. I feel he's the better all-around fighter though Beterbiev has the bigger punch and perhaps better chin. I see Gvozdyk playing it smart and boxing around him. Beterbiev has short arms and doesn't have stellar defense. So who else is psyched for Beterbiev vs Gvodzyk
Makes for one hell of a fight. I'd give the edge to Gvodzyk, ever so slightly though.
Dylian Whyte failed a drugs test for this past fight. That's his title shot gone not that the WBC were going to enforce it. Probably should have taken that Joshua payday after all.
Who cares.. everyone is juicing
If true, would Rivas have grounds to sue I wonder? And matchroom etc knew about it before hand and still let the fight continue without Rivas knowing which is ridiculous
Agreed. Shame on Hearn. He's got some explaining to do and Whyte is a complete and utter turd. Always pointing the finger and yet he's a multiple time cheat.Hearn cared the other month when they stopped Big Baby Miller from fighting AJ cos of steroids. He cared when he's been accusing every American heavyweight and Manny last weekend yet he can just turn a blind eye when it's one of his fighters and let the fight continue without telling anyone.
I agree with your sentiment but it's double standard from everyone involved. Including Whyte who has spent every interview in years accusing Joshua of being on steroids despite failing 2 tests now.
Awful news again. This type of stuff is why I can't stand Wilder and his "persona" when he openly talks about wanting to kill a man.Another boxing death just days after the last one

Hugo Santillan died from injuries sustained in a title fight on Saturday. Collapsed in the ring, was rushed to hospital and died today.

One fight doesn't define it all especially considering it was past it's sell by date. That's like saying Hearns is greater than Duran because he pancaked him. Duran is miles greater overall. Is Bowe better than Holyfield? Is Douglas better than Tyson? Pacquaio won his first title at flyweight. Those two fighters are about 3-4 weight divisions apart in natural weight minimum. Mayweather doesn't have a single great win or achievement that makes you go wow. It's an accumulation of solid/very good wins and an "0". Pacquaio has wins over all-time great fighters in or near prime. Floyd doesn't. Prior to their fight Pacquaio's career was more impressive and after it, he's added quite a lot more. Did that one crappy fight with them both passed prime and with Mayweather's IV flush and Pacquaio's injury really define it all? It meant next to nothing IMO.Who got schooled by Mayweather
