Yeah Gassiev should win and be interesting to see that match-up. These cruiserweights really are tough guys but they hardly get any recognition because they have no marketability. Someone like Bellew/Stevenson would go nowhere near Usyk as the reward is not worth the risk. Probably very low money compared what they can make as a headliner against an inferior opponent or domestic match (i.e. Haye), they will most likely get beat and because most casual don't recognise Usyk as a top fighter then it will look bad on them.

Joshua against this mandatory tomato can on saturday isn't it, can't wait for that even if it is a guaranteed KO. Haye Bellew in Dec is the big one now.

What's Khan doing these days? He really is wasting his career peak years isn't he. When his speed goes he'll be utter rubbish.

Khan is just talking and talking and talking some more these days. His last 3-4 years has been a waste. He allowed himself to be trolled by Mayweather who had no intention of fighting him but led him on. Khan has basically done nothing apart from talk about Floyd & tried to talk himself into a Pacquaio fight. He showed no intention of fighting re-matches with Garcia and Peterson and didn't try to force his mandatory for the wbc instead just went to a high profile with Canelo for the exposure. He's also ducked Brook for years despite that being big money.

He's a part time boxer these days just trying to talk his way into a big money fight but doing nothing to actually earn one. As for what he has left? I think nothing. That Canelo KO was brutal and his chin was always soft I think it will be every time he's touched he's going to go moving forward and he may not have the mental aspect to pull through any more. Your right once his speed goes it will be a disaster for him. He never sharpened his skills, his infighting ability is awful and his chin is terrible. When he got with Virgil Hunter all he learned was how to waste time in a fight and how to hold. Nothing technical.

Sky have made Joshua vs. Wlad free to watch on YouTube (I'm guessing until the Takam fight)

Best heavyweight fight in years for me.

Nice, & definitely. There were so many questions surrounding AJ before the fight...

How would he deal with the magnitude of the event?
How would he deal with going into the latter rounds?
How would he deal with a truly WC opponent?
How would he recover if he got into trouble?

And he answered all emphatically. It was a truly brilliant night.

Yeah, he past a lot of tests. I think the one we will have to see from him next is can he keep his poise and be patient when he has an opponent hurt. The great ones are very calm when they hurt their opponent. Joshua blew his load and that got him into trouble but meant he could prove himself in all those other aspects.

Joshua way heavier than he needs to be. Makes him more likely to potentially gas.

When Katie is over I'll probably start watching, ain't got time for womens boxing or football for that matter. Did see Eddies tweet about his announcing tweet 365 days ago and now she has a title fight, he loves it doesn't he. Yes he's good at what he does but he loves it the slimeball, "look everyone, look at her now she's with me"

Joshua ain't for anyone apart from Wlad, lets be real he, and then he was mega old and still put him on his arse. Whyte testing him one round but is like an amateur tear up Chisora. I think we just enjoy the knock out tonight or easy win and then hope for proper tests after that.

what's with the two minute rounds in womens boxing? And only 10 in a world championship fight?

This was entertaining. Both women employed the "my face against your fist" defence style. Taylor looks like a good infighter, the argie was bad at it on the other hand

What's she say? Can't get a word, she speaks so fast as well.

Edit, just heard Bellew speaking, didn't realise he was working tonight. In the words of Axl Rose 'interpreter please'

Should be a walk over for AJ, but in the back of my mind is telling me this could be his Rahmen if he not up for it as much had he been facing Pulev

Bellew’s great

Dillian better not feck up here

Careful mate, the media will round on you and cause a storm over that one lol.
I find it halarious though. Are the boxing authorities basically saying women are inferior and can't handle full 3 minute rounds? We all know that is bollocks of course and women can reach insane levels of fitness like men. In this day an age I'm really surprised these two minute rounds still exist for women.

We got any decent rivers for the boxing about?

This fight is dragging against this unit. Wilder should be watching this, swallow his pride, take Hearns £5m cash which is better than he's ever had, take the rest of the one off punch, Rahman style, KO Whyte and then push for AJ etc.
