Was thinking the same thing, but Canelo probably didn't want Amir's name at the top of the bill, phonetically or otherwise.
Ireland and GoldenBoys' Jason Quigley picked up a dominant win vs De la Rosa on the undercard which is a nice step up fight for him. He's a previous European amateur number 1 and has a record of 11-0-0 now. He should be a big player in the middleweight division in a few years. Some of the lads I've trained with are from Donegal and can't praise him enough. Excellent fighter and a really sound guy so he's one to keep an eye on. Being nicknamed 'El Animal' is great too!
Canelo in round 8 is my prediction later. I think Khan will surprise people though and do pretty well. He should make plenty money with this, a rematch with Garcia and a fight with Brook anyway so good luck to him.
