Dubbed Rio's Return. It's the game that doesn't need any hype. Below are a few comments that our friends on the Leeds forum,Squareball.co.uk have been posting this week.

since theyre shite, i'll say leeds to dominate and win 2-0.

Just painted a 4ft by 2ft sign saying "JUDAS!", you'll be able to see it East Stand Upper, closer to the South Stand side!!

I've made myself a R10 5CUM number plate for the back of the car

He is like a goldfish. He may sparkle and shimmer but, if you look closely, there is usually a long piece of shit hanging off the back of him

I'll take the draw.

A friendly lot those Yorkshire cnuts. I personally think this experience will make Rio a lot stronger. BUT FOR feckS SAKE...THERE IS A FOOTBALL GAME GOING ON TO.

I reckon the usual hectic and frantic start...Our superiority should shine through, being able to slow the game down and play it at our own pace.

Why is it official? That picture's too big.

Cos it sounds better.

Leeds United: Robinson, Mills, Kelly, Woodgate, Matteo, Radebe, Duberry, Harte, Smith, Bowyer, Bakke, Batty, Dacourt, Kewell, Viduka, Bridges, Martyn.

Manchester United: Barthez, Ricardo, Carroll, P Neville, Silvestre, Blanc, Ferdinand, O'Shea, Tierney, Roche, Beckham, Butt, Veron, Scholes, Giggs, Stewart, Pugh, van Nistelrooy, Solskjaer, Forlan.

Sir Alex Ferguson
"I would have to say that the one thing we are lacking at the moment is the killer touch. It will come back because these players can score goals, there's no question about that. Our defending was excellent, our team play was good, the effort they put in was fantastic and I cannot fault them one bit. But the result didn't go our way."

Agreeeee...

If that was the result I wouldn't be that unhappy! Four goals at ER......that would be quit positive. And it would be a cracking match.

Rumours that Ricardo is to start ahead of Fab. Really cant see it, unless Fab has had a recurrence of his hip injury.

The Leeds fans are more concerned with giving Rio grief than their team winning. Hopefully that will get through to the players. Lets face they have got a few players who are proned to losing their heads. Mills, Smith, Bowyer.
If that happens we should be able to walk off with a fairly comfortable victory.
If the players really get motivated we can outplay them but we need our striker(s) to find their touch.
I think there will be goals and i'm going for 3-1 but i'm not sure which way.

If MU players play to their ability they will beat anyone so Leeds have to hope that some have an off day - after watching the game at Newcastle I was impressed with Leeds work rate and that is the only way to beat MU...we have to work hard for the full game and give the likes of Ruud and OGS no chances.

If Robbo is in the same form as the Newcastle game and Leeds work as hard I think we will win...if not MU to win.

Oh and if, as expected, Jeff 'Bastard' Winter is on your side we have no chance. ;)

Hope you all enjoy the game and, to those that went, I hope you return safely :D :

Tried to get a ticket 3 months ago and failed to get one...Down to the Black Horse for me to watch on the big screen with a load of MU hating Geordies.

After we beat them I might not get a good reception either

Team News from Sky Sports:

O'Shea (right back)
Blanc and Rio
Silvestre
P Neville (in for Veron who is injured)
Becks
Giggs
Butt
Ole
Ruud
Barthez

I'm off to the Sharjah Wanderers to put up with the most cluless set of ABU's in the middle east. It will be 40% United fans and 60% feckwits. Since I havn't time to g to the pub in Dubai there isn't much choice :(

It does start in about 25 mins doesn't it? Or have i got the time difference wrong?

We're fecked, why the hell is Phil in centre mid? Why not put Chadwick on the right and Becks in midfield???

I bet Diego is feeling like he's never gonna get a chance to play 90 minutes.

Come on you REDS

Very defensive team, its going to be very physical and scrappy, but we're not going to be able to keep possession well. And how are we going to create chances?

Boy Phil must think that interview he gave in the start of the season where he says he must play some more really worked...

Yep, that would have been a better option too. I think we're here for the draw y'know.

I was thinking the same thing. Or put Diego on the right. I know we'd lose out on Becks' crosses but he tends to drift into the middle anyway. Just don't see where the creativity's going to come from today.

Just what I thought - I can't believe Phil Neville gets a game ahead of our young wingers.

Yeah, its on Sky. Its a defensive formation thats for sure. Maybe its for the best, we're going to be attacked strongly thats for sure.

Corner kick to Leeds from bad header back to goalie, and another headed attempt at goal, from Viduka. We've got to win these headers!

Calm defending by Blanc cutting out the cross and one touch passing to O'Shea. Nice one Giggsy, dispossessing them, breaking, not too many back, but we lose the ball.

This is gonna be a good match, great atmosphere, wish it was like that at OT, and its having the effect on the pitch, end to end so far.

Damn these early kickoffs

Come on United
