I get what you are saying. To be fair I think the Just is qualifying as recently, not minimizing it.
Also. Glenn Beck is what syphilis would be if it could walk.
Sure does stink when that happens…
She employs no common scents. It really is completely out of odor.
Just gonna assume he’s a Republican…
I read his t-shirt in Ty from AFTV's voice
He gets that often.I thought that was Matt Gaetz for a second and was confused.

Former (Trump appointed) ambassador to Denmark revealing the horrible living conditions in our country. Finally the truth is out. Getting to and from work is like a daily polar expedition for us.
I see politics in the States is still mainly about making things up.
This is terrible, where can I donate some money to #helpdenmark?
Will send my IBAN, and make it gets to the people in need.
Don't be ridiculous, Danish people can't ski.

i think they're using the current crisis to reinforce the idea of rationing personal travel. to accelerate the transition from gas to electric and from personal to collective. could be giving them too much credit because it's not as if they've demonstrated proficiency in longterm planning before, but the climate crisis is coming to a head. i think the goal will be significant alteration the means of production and consumption, including travel in personal vehicles, by 2030.

it's standard economic practice and theory to use crises, real or perceived, to function in other terms. covid is a good example. there are things which will have been learned from that crisis which will be applied elsewhere.Woukd you like to buy a bridge?
reptiles contolling the government in UFOs mounted on pyramids sending signals to Alex Jones via David Icke. how did you not know?Who is "they"?
the biggest argument against it is the capitalist class itself. defined by shorttermism and irrational production. so likely wishful thinking on my part.Woukd you like to buy a bridge?

(alternatively, the capitalist/political class which makes these kinds of decisions. the same people who own the means of production).
which ones?Read newer books.
which ones?
i know this, and it's not what i was getting at. i meant an alteration in the means of production due to necessity not because of benign capitalist dictators. the decision to phase out any kind of commodity is the exact kind of thing i mean, or the decision to impose taxes as kind of rationing device as opposed to outright banning. regulation of supply is what i'm thinking about.Anything that accurately describes modern day financial markets.
‘They’ (ignoring the fact that there is no collective they) don’t have a plan that involves us consuming less. We are economy drones and they need us to keep feeding the free market furnace.
Any suggestion that there is a force at work that’s trying to make the world better and sees people spend less on tent pile industries…. Is insane. Not happening. Ever.
The billionaires are devoid of morals and long term planning. All they want is money. Consumption is central to everything.

which books most accurately describe modern day financial markets, though? i might be familiar with some but happy to take suggestions.

there is a they. it's called the capitalist class which is properly international. there is also literature on longterm planning for the collective phase out of vehicles which run on fossil fuels. there's nothing "mental" about that, unless you take the EU's various economic agenda setting literature as "mental". the targets are all there and incentives/disincentives in the form of taxes are discussed. that's also standard green party logic.You said this;
It’s properly mental. They will not stop mining fossil fuels as the entirety of the global economy is underpinned by oil that’s still in the ground, with the future value of those reserves traded daily.
There is no ‘They’ or ‘them’. It’s us, getting trampled on, always.
You can’t honestly believe that there’s an actual plan?

i'm not trying to catch you out, i'm genuinely asking for literary recommendations.
