The New low (I.) Q. Republicans and Ted Cruz

Their strategy seems to be as controversial and adversarial as possible to delight the idiots that support them and to wear down supporters of the Dems.
It's a constant barrage of useless and stupid statements by a whole group of them. The truth line keeps getting blurred so that suits them fine. As I saw somewhere: GOP accusations are confessions.
The fact that they're not being held to task by the GOP leadership means that it's a strategy that's endorsed by the GOP.
 
In the UK, maybe. Not in the US.

Yeah, here you can say pretty much anything about a public figure and you rarely see slander lawsuits. It's what makes the Alex Jones/Sandy Hook lawsuit so unique and, in my mind, so important.

One of my 2022 goals is to stop momentarily wondering why a US Senator is moonlighting as an NFL Insider for ESPN each time I hear Brian/Aaron Schatz.
 
Is there a country outside of the U.S. that isn't socialist to these halfwits? I mean, Macron was an investment banker before he turned to politics - hardly the second coming of Karl Marx.
Political terms are just bad or good buzzwords with no actual meaning to many Americans.

Socialism, Liberal = bad
Patriot, nation, gun = good

Since they dub "socialism" to include things like the NHS, they should be asked why defence spending - similarly paid for out of taxation - isn't also socialist.
