That Brazil kit is ridiculous. Either take the stripe all the way across or just leave it off. It's not difficult.

If theres a number below it, it mightn't be half bad.

I still don't understand what makes someone look at a shirt with a collar and instantly say "rugby", "tennis", "golf" or whatever. Why should any sports shirt be different than another? They are all designed to allow freedom of movement and comfort to a person playing sport. All designed to fit the same beasic requirements of human anatomy. A collar with buttons is no more suited to one sport than any other. These styles of shirts have been worn throughout football history, they are no more rugby than they are anything else.

I like the shirt by the way. Much better than that over-fussy Adidas one they had at the world cup.

Anyone notice how the venting at the side (it's also carried on around the back) is exactly the same as the 2002-04 United shirts? That was shite at the time, even worse to bring it back.

Agree with everyone on the stripe. The fact it just floats randomly on the chest rather than going all the way across it is what makes it look so odd.

I should have been more specific... the France kit doesn't look that far removed from the French rugby kit. Nothing against collars on shirts.

I wasn't really having a pop at you, but in general a lot of the reaction to this kit and the 2009 England kit was "rugby shirt". I don't really get what people expect a football shirt should be.

It seems Nike are taking the piss when it comes to making football kits. Not only are they hilariously shit, they don't resemble football kits whatsoever. I seriously wonder how, a multi-billion corporation of their stature, can't hire a legit group of people to design something that looks half decent. It is actually quite ridiculous. Brazil, France, Man United, these are all iconic footballing sides and surely, they ought to spend more time thinking of a decent kit design but no....one is a rugby shirt, one has duct tape across the middle, and one has a Star Trek V across the fecking chest.

Me neither. The crests look terrible, too. I don't mind the designs really, but they look a bit cheap and not usual Umbro quality.

that nike french kit is fecking superb. i'd hate to see what some of you lot have in your closets. Usually its umbro with the understated tailored look, but that nike french kit is so pure, simple, clean. Brilliant.

PSV away.... can't think of any other club that's only ever had one sponsor, (They were originally a works side of Philips)

Not a bad top. (shit photo)

Reminds me of City away from the early 80's with a black and red check design, also sponsored by Philips

Newcastle Jets 2011-12 home and away. From this seasons gold top/navy shorts home kit and a navy/white away kits...that's a hell of a change.
