He really regressed this season, been by far his worst season in the 8 years. Think he'll fade away soon. Poor career choice to move to PSG.

Has anyone seen his documentary on Netflix? Is it worth watching?
Just caught the last few minutes of Milan vs Salinaterna. It was end to end very similar to a Premiership game, was impressed by Milan Đurić, reckon there would be a few bargains to be had from this relegation bound side.
He actually scored a great goal but the penalty was a joke.
I think he’s trying to embarrass the keeper by sending him the wrong way and rolling it slow into the other corner.

Should he leave PSG at this point ? It's unlikely he's going to win the champions league there.

Also football looks like a chore to him now maybe he has genuinely lost all passion for it and isnt the first brazilian to have his peak years early and have a huge fall off. Injuries sure but I believe mentally he just is interested in other things and doesn't show joy to play like he used to.

I think Ashley Cole was a guy who understood it well then.
He gave his peak years to chelsea, then moved to Roma, when it didn't work out he went to the states, and then on to Derby.
Not saying Neymar should do that, but players can often fail to realize the real level they're playing at.
It is good if you're looking to know the story of his life and some interesting behind the scenes things.
If you're looking for an in-depth analysis on his career, that's not the place to go, but i'd say it's worth a watch and if you don't like it, just stop.

Well it depends on how you choose to view him. For example :
Competitior/natural successor to Ronaldo and Messi? Then yes he is very overrated.
As a footballer though? He is anything but overrated. Many world class seasons, top goals scorer in the history of Brazil (granted a over whelming majority is from friendly games) Key player in a CL winning team.
Neymar is far more talented than Irving is and nowhere near as problematic in the dressing room.
But yes, his move to PSG failed.
The injuries have taken their toll on him.
It's a shame as he is one of the last truly great technical players who like to put on a show and demonstrate their skills. His diving and sister shagging made me not view him in as positive light as I probably should have but it is what it is. Great player none the less, could and probably should have been greater than he was but you could say that for many players.
Going to PSG showed he cared more about the money.
As I said in the Messi thread with Mbappe leaving them it should allow the team to have a more balanced setup with him being the focus of the attack. It feels like he has undeperformed based on his talent and he also comes as not the best professional, so he needs to start taking his club carreer more seriously from now on. It's just not the fact PSG hasn't won a UCL, a lot of good teams don't win it but the manner in which they tend to go out.

He was always out injured/partying/vacation/visiting his sister, although he still performs well on the pitch, he is unable to reproduce the total output due to his rather limited number of appearance (average plays only 29 games per season).
This season he is 30, he has 4 goals 5 assist in 19 games. Even a 37 year old declining Ronaldo playing in disjointed team and tougher league does far better than him in terms of total output.
I think he is done.

What a disappointment of a career. He had unreal potential, and I mean legit unreal. He’s had some very high moments, but for what he should have been, he didn’t come close imo.
At the end of the day, his move to PSG proved to be a career-killer instead of the recognition booster that propelled Zlatan Ibrahimovic into something else. Speaking of impact upon the game, it's safe to say that Robert Lewandowski has been the worthy successor to Ronaldo and Messi in terms of pure dominance and ability to create something out of nothing.

Individually, in isolation, he has/had crazy attributes. But if you're talking about trying to build a team around him, getting a manager who can improve him but convince him to sacrifice certain individual impulses for team success, good luck.

Well said, he should never have left Barca. That team would have won 1 more CL at least and many more La Ligas
