They were so aggressive with their pro Mourinho stance, I got attacked numerous times for criticising him in any way. What a bunch of nutjobs.

Of course not. How could we expect Jose to play anything resembling football with only 400mil spent? I mean it's not like he's expected to coach his players or anything.
You do realise it's mostly the technically poorest ones that Mourinho likes because they're "characters" and "warriors". He doesn't really trust technical players in the way that most of the top managers now do, he never has done, and instead looks for people who will dig in with him in the trenches. It's part of the reason he looks so outdated, there are fewer of those types of players around now and a lot more ball players
If he wanted players who could control it and pass it quickly why the feck has he bought the likes of Lukaku and Matic and why does he love Fellaini so much? They're "men" who will be loyal to him but as people who can get the ball done and play fast, exciting football they're nowhere near good enough and nor is he as a manager who we know full well doesn't really bother coaching attacking players.

Van Gaal was a techincal coach but the gist was they were "over coached" and that is was too structured. And now its the opposite.

One of the best things about Van Gaal was the conveyor belt of young players that would come in if he had injuries. No left winger in goal or striker running on with a magic sponge as long as they were in their late 20s. He gave people a chance.
No quick fix. Jose needs to go but our results won't improve until some players depart. We have players on very high wages and it is unlikely that they will leave. We probably need to pay them off to leave. Players like Sanchez, Matic, Pogba, Lukuka, Mata would probably earn alot to want to leave. I guess it will be at least 3-4 years of rebuilding.
Jose can stay or go, the next manager won't make much of a difference. The main problem with United is much much deeper, its all the way to the board and the CEO. The Glazers and Ed needs to feck off along with Jose if United are to be a competitive club again cause lets face it United has become a banter club riding on their past achievements and glory. The management is incompetent and more focused on money making than football. There needs to be a massive overhaul and change of ownership for United to move forward.
Only question for me is who to bring in instead of him.

We are in a dire situation... This was supposed to be an "easy run" of fixtures for us while Spurs will have some tough games where we were all hoping for them to drop points. Top 4 is gone and come summer Martial, Pogba and De Gea will be as well. The worst part about this whole escapade is that there was a big chance this could all have been avoided had we gotten rid of this fraud of a manager earlier. Unfortunately we suffer from something called inept ownership where they value a 25m sacking fee over salvaging the season. Glazers, Woodward, Mourinho all a bunch of charlatans that are out of their depth.

The team had shown some fight in previous matches but today it was very dispirited, the crowd was down. It felt like we waved the small chance of top 4 goodbye like we couldn't be arsed.

Moyes got done in during January and LVG got smashed in December. We are at least facing a number of the lower clubs during that period but with some tricky fixtures sprinkled in. Complacency will be the real problem and I think we play into other clubs hands by being so timid in our own half, just allows them to have confidence to run at our goal. Also have the suspicion that we'll be facing a new Manager at Southampton next weekend which is never easy.
So is Mick McCarthy. I wouldn't touch either of them with a Fellaini.
People wonder why I have been so aggressive myself but when you're fighting such obvious idiocy and bias, you have to fight fire with fire. My tagline says it all though about how blinded we have been when it comes to seeing fans who criticise the management as 'bad supporters' and those who are utterly oblivious to any faults of the manager as 'good supporters'. It is a narrative that needs to change as soon as possible and the matchhgoing fans with the booing today are hopefully now beginning to take some responsibility and opening their eyes again.

The problem is, we're worse against the supposed worse teams. Today was a typical performance of us at home against a team we should be expecting to beat with ease.
No moyes, lvg and mourinho are big problems.
They set the tactics and game plan. Nothing to with ed when we set up with two banks of four at home (words of the manager) and rely purely long ball. We had the players to win the game

It's never on the players. They can be responsible for their own individual showing or a mistake or a bad miss.
But the team performances and results are the responsibility of the manager given its the team he's supposed to manage.
Any other manager who isn't Mourinho basically. The man is past it, time to put him out his misery. Too many players being terrible at the same time, too many recruits not playing at the same time is 100% on the manager, accept it.
