Hopefully that is right, first time I do one of these. He sent me the pick earlier so don't blame him, I thought the thread was dead and was waiting for a bump then I searched for the thread to see what was taking so long - and it was me.
 
Theon has pulled this off excellently. Assembled a great attack and midfield from the outset, white-knuckled the first few rounds a bit in terms of sporting a below-par defence, but has upgraded to a near-all star defensive unit now (apart from right back).
 
It was kinda obvious anyway. Theon's defense just went from one of the weakest to the by far strongest.

Yeah. Was hoping @Theon would be gone on that last round, because I knew he'd be near unbeatable when he got the chance to upgrade his defence.

Now if I get him on the next round, I'd just waive a white flag and wouldn't be bothered arguing.

I'm surprised he was allowed to get both of those centre backs to be honest. Skizzo/Joga have had a solid defence sorted from the outset, but I thought everyone else could use Silva or Vidic as a priority.

Perhaps we're clueless, which is why we're losing these. MJJ opted to make the much needed upgrade of the underwhelming Hazard for Ronaldinho, instead of the small upgrade of Sokratis for T.Silva/Vidic. Who knows, he gets pretty far in most of these so maybe we're the ones mistaken.

@Isotope are you planning to keep playing Chivu?

@Theon I'm loving the team you've built. Very well all-rounded and balanced, well done. If you'll get through next round and get a top class RB for Albiol and a(not urgent) upgrade for Khedira/Sneijder it will be the best Ibrahimovic built system possible.

I felt that @Theon got away with murder in the last round. He shouldn't have won with that god awful defence of his :lol: And now he has two individually best defenders in the draft forming a complimentary partnership - that's cheating, surely.

I have Pepe and Boateng as CB, and with the chance to a massive upgrade on fullbacks and CM. I don't think upgrading those CBs is priority. I'd say MJJ and Skizzo could use both but decided not to.

Aye, the reinforcement rounds have been less tactical than normal and more focused on attacking pizzazz rather than tangible defensive improvement.

Would never have gotten two of Silva /vidic/terry. As defenders there isn't a look between them so was happy with whoever was left over. Having Ronaldinho as a winger is much more effective than upgrading a fullback/centre back since his attacking prowess more than makes up for the defensive frailty on that side.

Yep, and looks like it paid off to go gung ho in the reinforcements last round - Isotope keeping Chivu didn't backfire, MJJ keeping Sokratis/Baines didn't backfire, Theon keeping Koscielny-Kolo didn't backfire. Quite the contrary. Very strange and alerting regarding future drafts :lol:
 
By the way, I don't think @Skizzo is free of upgrading that Atletico trio through the final, with the likes of primed Ronaldinho-Bale-Hazard-Suarez-Eto'o-Muller-Ribery-Ibrahimovic all together in attack I'd expect better defenders than Miranda or Juanfran against them, even though they're partnered with proven partners.
