You could even make the argument they should work in the favour of your opponent. Volk wanted to take Max down; however, Max stopped his opponent imposing his will and kept the fight where he wanted it to be. That is more worthy of acclaim than a meaningless takedown.

I mean.. as expected, really. I can’t deny Usman is very effective and in fairness, he is a formidable opponent.. but.. Colby fight aside, he has previous for these less than exciting fights. For me, that’s cool and all - But he sort of relinquishes his power to call for opponents/money fights. I expect he’ll drop GSP’s name here post-fight; however, if I were Dana White, I’d be looking to rebook the Burns match.
