Second to Silva imo
Having those 2 in their prime at the same time was something else. Both were so dominant, but Anderson’s legacy is tarnished not only for failed tests but also his recent fights. GSP went out at the right time and then even solidified it years later in the one off against Bisping

When I started watching UFC, the champs were Tim Sylvia, Chuck Liddell, Rich Anderson, Matt Hughes and don’t remember who was lightweight champ. GSP and BJ were coming up at welterweight. Good times.

Everybody was juicing back then though, it was the wild west. Rumour is that GSP retired because USADA was brought in. The timeline matches

Almost have a sense of dread about this one. If someone is going to get seriously injured from a KO, it’s at the hands of one of these two.
Damn. You called that big time!

Ref saved Rozenstruik from a trip to the brain surgeon.

Worst call out of all time? That surely did backfire

Would you not think it would get to 4 hours if you include morning runs and the like?

I would imagine machines like Tony probably do it in their own weird ways!

10k calories a day is crazy, can’t even imagine shoveling down that much food. Probably bland food too :wenger: Lots of fish and chicken breast with rice I imagine!

4 hour work outs are 4 hour work outs. That's where you put your body under such duress where only your mind can get you through it. It's actually quite common for people who disregard their own safety but certainly not for professional athletes. Athletes build up themselves slowly over decades sometimes. 10k calories looks like a bowl of porridge and then a bowl of coco pops at 6 am. A full 'British breakfast' at 08:30. Sausage rollover at 10. 12:30 would be at least half of a pizza and lots of chips and some desert. You get the idea... I can assure you that one of my acquaintances had to eat all that and then take milkshakes.

I still think Keane drops him.

Yep. No way Ngannou could withstand this

Too bad Ngannou couldn’t beat Stipe or the Black Beast
Stipe did a great job against him, but I don’t think Ngannou was in right frame of mind in the Lewis fight. It was such a Non event. I’d actually like to see the rematch assuming title isnt up for grabs

The actual punch he landed wasn’t even 100%. The punch just that missed just before had full power and would have had serious medical ramifications.

Ngannou will be the next champ for sure. If he fights Stipe again, it wouldn't end up nicely for the champ.
Nah, Stipe hugs him for a round and a half and Francais starts to hesitate coming forward then gasses and loses his power.
He hasnt actually had the chance to improve in his weak areas because he can blitz all but 2 in the division

That was pretty much Eddie halls diet throw in a cheesecake and buttermilk

He is a scary, scary man. I don’t think anyone in MMA has ever hit this hard before.

I actually think it shows how good Stipe is that he was able to nullify it. A more mature Ngannou, full of confidence, would be a spectacle.

Judging from DC’s face on commentary, if Ngannou is involved, he is out

Don't think I've hated a fighter as much as Cejudo. As much as I want Dom to destroy him I can't see any way he beats him.

This is actually a really good point and adds an extra layer to it all if they do fight again. So intriguing now.

Yeah good luck hugging him. Ask Cain how it went for him, or the best wrestler of the division, Curtis Blaydes.

The Stipe fight was lost by Ngannou himself (Stipe used a smart plan to be fair, but you can't plan for current Ngannou). The lactic acid buildup was ridiculous and he stopped moving mid 1st round.

Now he is a total different beast. Stronger mentally. He lost a lot of weight without losing nothing of the power. He won't be chasing after Stipe like a madman if they fight again, etc.

COME ON DOMINICK!!!
