True but I can see Jones just goading him now and DC losing it. I mean, the prospect of losing 2 fights to Jones would be horrible but then Dana can always offer him an amazing purse and there is also a fact that DC will always push the narrative that Jones cheated his way to those victories, rightly or wrongly.
Either way, Jones is an incredibly talented fighter, no one can take that away from him. Similarly, no one can deny that his reputation has been tarnished by the PED fiascos.
I think Jones is just way more talented than DC peds or no peds....DC lost twice....don't think he wants a third.
I think DC would like one final big money fight prior to retirement. Doing it against Lesnar would make sense, but he may not be able to turn down one final crack at Jones.

Lesnar supposedly informed the UFC he had officially retired from MMA about 2 weeks ago so most likely DC’s only big money fight option is Jones.
I only saw that info whilst scrolling through my Instagram I think from MMA news and you would think they would have mentioned it last night. USADA testing has really done a number on Brock, he looks tiny now.
Cyborg in a way I respect what she did but that was foolish, got rocked so basically tries to punch her way out of trouble with someone who can clearly punch. At one point Cyborg is clearly out and is throwing punches but isn’t even looking at Nunes and Nunes catches her twice.

Be hilarious if he did. Worst part is I'm sure there's still people who would excuse it and he'd be still a fan favourite.
That's a testament to how good he is. He put the best fighter in his division with relative ease. I thought Gus would come out far more organized and aggressive but Jon's leg and body kicks put him in so much pain that finishing him off was relatively easy in the end.

I think he beats anyone he fights in any division really, just for me it's always been tarnished by fact he has so many failed tests.

The only interesting non-Cyborg fight I can see for Nunes would be a matchup against Holly Holm, who is also a great boxer and could give her some problems.
The Nunes moment was great. She's a beast. I had Valentina winning their rematch but doesn't take anything away from Nunes, she is definitely one of the best female fighters ever and I'm not too surprised at the outcome.

I mean Cat Zingano destroyed her and the only reason she beat Valentina is because of judges not understanding striking. So if she wants to be called or if people want to call her the best then she should run it again vs Valentina but I’d imagine if there is a rematch Cyborg won’t think she can just walk through her and instead will fight smarter and probably deal with her.
I'm no fan of Nunes but although her second fight with Valentina was close, she decisively won the first. Can't bring up Zingano. Most of the best athletes have losses.

Good decision in my opinion. Chad is still good, but no more than a gatekeeper.
He has his own company and business ventures, no need to fight and get beat up just for the sake of it.
