Sterling’s best chance was the 1st two rounds, he did very well in the 1st but it’s become a bit of a clinic since for Yan. It’s a huge gulf in class now. Really not close
Yan rd 4 tko. Guy is one of the most well rounded fighters since DJ.
And he still got knocked down in the first. Apart from couple of knees and pressure in the first two rounds, Aljo showed nothing really. Still anything can happen.

Absolutely but lets not take the blame away from Yan, what a stupid shot and very intentional.
This is how I felt honestly.
Clearly was rocked and definitely out of it, but felt after a while, and even now as he walks off, feels like his putting more on than it is.
Anyway, it is what it is.
It doesn’t get more of a full blown DQ than that though. It’s absolutely clear cut. He was losing, but he wasn’t out of it. If your opponent gets lulled into a stupid mistake like that, then the belt is yours. You won. No disputes about it.
Im friends with his head coach for this fight. Hes a boxer. I just hope this wasnt a case of not knowing the rules.
